24.01.2022 We at Greenway Lawn Services Betterscapes wishing all of our clients, followers, family and friends a very Happy 2021. New year so new hopes for all ! This wonderful makeover was a replacement of a falling retaining wall, ( half) a top up decorative stones and some gorgeous succulent and plants to recreate a wonderful low maintenance landscape. The stones were a mix requested by us and supplied by #somertonGardenSupplies. The mix is buffalo rock/river pebbles bringing th...e white pebbles to this century Complementing the render and greys in driveway. The plants nandinas (red) jades, leucadendron safari sunset (red) and liriopes (blue/purple flowers) clients very happy as were we with completed works. This beautiful property can be yours. 19.01.2022 This Betterscapes frontscape was designed by an amalgamation of ideas. The owners knew they wanted the Adbri miniwall blocks then it was our job to create a beautifully flowing frontage leading up to their gorgeous home. After presenting a few ideas the owner had decided on the sweeping bends towards the front door softening the corner looks using these blocks can create. This miniwall block can give that effect. 14.01.2022 We've entered Autumn weather but you'd swear it was winter with the cool nights and wet days This job was started at the start of the season. So we still had nice days but by afternoon the chill was noticed. The clients were so happy with the end result. A gorgeous entertainment area to surround the base of swimming pool was created along with a lovely path brought into this century. Quite a bit of rubble and stone was removed. A safe and high retaining wall along with proper natural drainage flow to back was created with this gorgeous landscape. 13.01.2022 Well it's been quite a few months since our last post due to the Covid lockdown and an injury requiring rest rest rest but we're back Baby ... Our first job was this gorgeous home's existing backyard. The young couple who bought this postponed their wedding a few times then bought this beautiful property. With a little trim here and a removal there in the garden Presto.... Stephen worked his magic and the wedding proceeded in this beautiful backyard. Both newly-weds were so happy as we were too! 12.01.2022 We were truly blessed to be working on this fabulous makeover. Due to the Covid and an injury this gorgeous couple waited and waited for us . Retaining wall to keep back soils from sliding into back of house was created. Crushed bgrade for a solid path surrounding house and then new soils up into top pad for Sir Walter Buffalo turf to be laid. Also a Crushed bgrade platform for shed to go on top. To our surprise a gorgeous little fur family member was added just prior to us finishing. 09.01.2022 This huge retaining wall was installed to give the owners a split level backyard and piece of mind no erosion from neighbours will occur. A fair bit of concrete was used at base if metal posts hence the concrete mixer. From start to finish Melbourne turned on the four seasons but mostly rain enabling us to play, slip and slide in the mud a few days over with this job but was well worth it in the end. Client very happy.

02.01.2022 This makeover made our hearts soar. A lovely landscape for a great couple looking to spend more time outdoors. With this lovely low maintenance garden the colours are plentiful. Lilly Pillys used to line the fence and dwarf escallonias (pink) bordering the retaining wall. In the back green pillar Pittosporums will form a low maintenance hedge as it's not as fast as other varieties. Charcoal pavers lead to nandinas and liriopes. Along the side we have the perfumed gardenias and tall escallonias iveyii. Gosh this was a truly beautiful start to finish one. A lot of fill was brought in to bring it up and the beautiful TifTuf Bermuda Grass supplied by StrathAyr Instant Lawn Gosh the finish was just beautiful. 01.01.2022 Well folks it's been the most unusual couple of months we've ever experienced. Beginning with needing items from Bunnings to be told it's been stopped at the ports. So we knew something big was about to happen. Thankfully it hasn't affected our work too much. Doing what we love and adhering to the distance rules we've created Betterscape landscapes to a few more gardens. This garden makeover is super low maintenance. We used bgrade crushed rock to level up before the comin...g winter and created a lovely hedge out of pittosporums. (Screenmaster.) New soils for garden beds and at front extra soil to raise already existing garden. Treated pine sleepers were used for edging.
