SR 4650 Perennial Ryegrass (PSRX-370...1) (Lolium perenne) is an attractive, leafy, endophyte-enhanced ryegrass that has the highest level of Gray Leaf Spot resistance of any perennial ryegrass. It has demonstrated high overall performance under various maintenance levels ranging from golf course fairways to residential lawns. Early development of spreading rhizomes gives this variety increased density when used for permanent turf, along with improved wear tolerance and recovery. 23.01.2022 This photo was sent in from Highlands Christian College In Toowoomba. A kikuyu oval over-sown with Olympic Gold Ryegrass. Their sound agronomic program includes regular applications of GTS Sport Series Fertiliser and Restore G for even water distribution (particularly useful in the dry conditions of late). We reckon it's a pretty awesome effort!

21.01.2022 The worlds tourism industry has been greatly affected by Coronavirus. Nowhere has avoided this. One world renowned South Pacific Island golf resort has utilised the time very productively. Golf Course Superintendent Joji Are has used this forced quiet time well by renovating greens, tees and fairways (often difficult to do at the resort while guest are using the world class facility). The Zoysia fairways were cored, dragged, and blown to clean up. Mowers were lowered and slig...htly scalped to remove excess thatch (which was minimal anyway). The 13 hectares of fairways were then fertilised with GTS Colour Plus 20 -0-16 + 5% Fe at 300 Kg/Ha with outstanding results. A granular gypsum application will follow to boost calcium numbers. The response has been excellent, and this work will set the Golf Resort up for the next 6 months. During that time periodic application of foliar fertilisers will be used to allow the Zoysia to shine. Joji only has a small, but hard-working crew that live on a neighbouring island and commute daily by boat to the resort. He has worked closely with Paul Lierse from Greenway Turf Solutions for the past 3 years and this partnership has helped improve the quality of the course with critical and precise programming. 12.01.2022 David Somerville, Superintendent at Bankstown Golf Club has witnessed a uniquely different dynamic in his 60 year old greens - fresh, fibrous, and adventitious white root systems. The major change in David’s greens maintenance program was to engage in an intensive Azoprop program at the end of 2019. The results were almost instantaneous.
