25.01.2022 Our Diploma of Project Management students in Melbourne participated in an in-class activity called the Tower Challenge Project. Each team has to build the tallest free-standing tower they can, as fast as possible, using the minimum materials as possible, and avoiding too much risk. This simple activity put to test the students' skills and knowledge in project scope, time, resources, quality and risk.

25.01.2022 A friendly reminder that due to Queen's Birthday public holiday, there will be no classes on Monday (08th of June). All classes (online) will be back on Tuesday, June 09th. The Queen's Birthday is an Australian public holiday but the date varies across states and territories.... Australia celebrates this holiday because it is a constitutional monarchy, with the English monarch as the head of state. Have a great long weekend!

23.01.2022 This year Australia Day (26th January) falls on a Sunday and Monday, 27th January has been substituted as the public holiday, which means: Sydney Pitt St. and Mary St, North Sydney and Melbourne campuses will be closed on Monday, 27th January. Greenwich Management College classes will run normally on Saturday, 25th January.... All campuses will reopen on Tuesday, January 28th.

18.01.2022 Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, April 5th. Clocks will go backward one hour at 3:00am. Yes, you are getting an extra hour of sleep once the clocks change. Most smartphones will automatically adjust the time but it is always good to double-check so you are not running late to our Monday class.

Greenwich College is fully committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students and the wider community, and want to reassure you that we have implemented the recommended safety precautions across all of our campuses based on the advice of the Australian Government and the Department of Health. Today we have had our first confirmed case of a student who has contracted COVID-19. The student was studying at our Pitt Street campus.... It is very important to read the below information: - As a precautionary health measure and on the recommendation of the Australian Department of Health, all Greenwich College campuses will close at 3:30pm today, Tuesday 17th March 2020. - All of our campuses will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, with particular attention paid to the Pitt st. campus. - All Greenwich College classes will move to 100% online delivery from next Monday, 23rd March. All students will be individually contacted to explain how to access online course delivery before the end of this week. - We plan to re-open all Greenwich College campuses on Monday 6th April, unless we are directed otherwise by the Australian Government. All new students arriving to Australia from 16th March are required to self-isolate for a period of 14 days before commencing their studies. We will contact students through email. We have been closely monitoring Australias progress in reducing COVID-19 pandemic shut-down measures. Please note that all Greenwich Management College (GMC) classes will continue to be delivered in our online Virtual Learning Environment until the end of Term 3 (ending on 20 June 2020).... Greenwich English College (GEC) intends to re-open its campuses for face-to-face English language classes from Monday 15 June 2020, the campus will only open for English language classes at this stage. We are making this decision to gradually re-open our campuses after careful consideration of advice from the Australian Government and relevant health authorities, and we will implement a range of specific hygiene measures and practices to ensure that our campuses are safe for students and staff.

These events were not only fun-filled but also allowed our students to gain first-hand practical experiences to planning and managing what goes on behind-the-scenes.
