24.01.2022 Our Toddler 2/Pre-Kindy Junior children have been fascinated by bugs and insects. Going on adventures in our garden to find any bugs and look through the books to learn more about our discoveries. As a team we decided to introduce stick insects into our room. Together we help give them fresh eucalyptus leaves to eat and change the wood shavings on the bottom. Our new friends names are Sticky, Twiggy, Leafy and Woody. We are excited to watch them move and grow. Book Weeks theme this year was Curious Creatures and Wild Minds, we were lucky to have a special visit from 2 beautiful creatures called Max and Georgie. Rescued from the bushfires these joeys came in to teach us about kangaroos and to interact and engage with us. When they are older their new home will be at a wildlife sanctuary.

23.01.2022 "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."

19.01.2022 Our new Menu is now in rotation. Today's lunch was a new one for the children and was a big hit

07.01.2022 FREE ONLINE COURSE - COPING WITH CHANGES Learn how to provide playful and engaging social emotional learning (SEL) support to children affected by COVID-19 di...sruption. COVID-19 means children around the world must adjust to school closure, social distancing, school reopening (but looking different), and the probability of more school closures in future. These changes will impact children’s academic outcomes as well as challenge their mental health and socio-emotional wellbeing, which forms the basis of their ability to learn. On this course, run by the LEGO Foundation and FutureLearn, you’ll explore the practical and emotional challenges facing children and discover learning through play and stress management strategies that can help. You’ll also consider the potential long term effects of crises on a child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
