25.01.2022 SOS!!! The Canteen desperately needs 3 volunteers to help tomorrow (Thursday 26/11/20). Due to Covid and our community being extra careful with illnesses I don't have enough volunteers to help me. If you have your volunteer clearances sorted and you're willing to donate even an hour of your time it would be so helpful in getting lunches out to the school kids. Please either call me on 8289 8448 or pop in when you have time. Thank you!... Natalie Cotton See more

24.01.2022 What an amazing community to be a part of!!! Thank you so much to all those who offered help and came into the canteen to help. I was overwhelmed and humbled with support and offers. There are always opportunities for volunteers to come in and help so if the mood strikes - give me a call and I'll pop you on the roster. Thank again!... Natalie Cotton See more

24.01.2022 What amazing performances our students have produced, a huge shoutout to our teachers for the rehersals and to Miss Collins for co-ordinating the day. We missed our Community being part of this experience, but please enjoy the video. What a lovely way to end the term. We would like to thank our videographer Ethan for his skills in compiling our magnificent concert. We encourage you to follow his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/offthecouchwithethan/

17.01.2022 Secondly, we have finished off our Fun Run which was postponed for our Year 2 to 5's from Week 5. We got there in the end! :) The students did an amazing job and had fun getting a chance to run, walk and skip around the oval. Thanks to Mrs Robinson for organising and co-ordinating the Fun Run and our fabulous School Leaders for helping and encouraging all the students around the oval, not to forget Leadership for starting the race and our SSO's for recording our 1st, 2nd and... 3rd. Great job everyone.

15.01.2022 Elfie was up to mischief last night tucking into some M & M's and getting excited about school holidays coming. Elfie will miss all the students coming in to visit him in the front office, but he wishes you all the very best Christmas and New Year. See you all again next year. Luckily Elfie still gets to keep up entertained in the office next week. :)

15.01.2022 On Wednesday our SAPSASA Girls Cricket Team played in the Statewide Grand Final. Our girls came up against Stirling East again, who were a very strong opposition. Everyone tried their hardest and put in a gallant effort, but we were unfortunately, not able to come away with the win. We batted first and managed to make 9/85 off our 20 overs, with Sienna Z top scoring again. Our girls bowled really well and were very economical but couldn't quite get the wickets we needed. Jess... S, Mischa F and Makayla S bowled incredibly and were able to keep us in the hunt. It was a tight match until the end, when Stirling East passed our score in the 17th over. We are both incredibly proud of our girls' efforts in making the final for the third year in a row, but we are even more proud of how hard they've worked on their cricket this year and how committed they've been. Fantastic work, girls! Mr Smith and Brayden

12.01.2022 Today our SAPSASA Girls Cricket team played Gulfview heights, coming away as comfortable winners. The girls batted first and made 2/170 off our 20 overs, with Brooke G, Ruby S and Sienna Z all retiring after making at least 25 not out. The girls then bowled well and had Gulfview Heights all out for 62 in return. The major wicket takers were Ruby D, Emma L and Samantha M, all getting 2 wickets each. Awesome work on making it through to the semi-finals, girls. Mr Smith and Brayden

10.01.2022 Today we held our annual Campus Remembrance Day Ceremony where we pause and reflect on the sacrifices of those who served in war. We were lucky to have Sgt James Stone & The 7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment Catafalque Party attend our assembly today and for the fantastic work of Deb Thompson, Classes 401, 405, Miss Collins and her GPS Junior Choir and her wonderful defence students in putting together such a respectful ceremony. We are very proud of our assembly and the way our students are always respectful and reflective of this day. None of this would be possible without Deb Thompson our DSM who always goes above and beyond in her organisation. Thank you to everyone involved. We will have a more comprehensive coverage of the day in our newsletter tomorrow.

08.01.2022 A marvellous idea for all the children at home tomorrow. A chance to sing and dance with an SA legend! I wonder how many Greenwith PS families will be part of the #salockdowngig #petercombe #greenwithps #supportlocalbusiness

06.01.2022 A big thank you to our school community for the smooth "drop-offs" this morning. We had a large amount of staff and student leaders who were supporting students who needed it. We are very proud of our younger students who very independently and confidently were able to make their way to class. For Junior Primary parents - if you have not made a pickup location with your child for collection this afternoon, can you please Bloomz the teacher so we can advise your child of th...e arrangements for the rest of the week. If your child has significant support needs and is unable to walk to class with the support of staff or student leaders, please bring them to the front office via the Visitors carpark entrance. Our Lady of Hope are finishing this week at 2:55pm (10 minutes earlier) this will support some congestion around the school, please do not park in the Kiss & Drop prior to 3:05pm.

05.01.2022 We would like to wish our School Community a Happy and Safe Christmas and New Year.

01.01.2022 Year 7 Graduation We understand that you are wondering what the arrangements are for your child’s graduation due to the recent significant changes that have occurred. There is Plan A and Plan B. Plan A is what we have communicated in regards to the event at Dame Roma Mitchell Centre.... Plan B could look like holding a modified ceremony in the evening on-site (more information will be shared if this goes ahead). We are going to wait until the 1st December where hopefully our current restrictions will be further lifted and the Dame Roma Mitchell Centre is available. If this does not occur then we will go with Plan B and communicate this with you on Wednesday, 2nd December. In regards to tickets, I ask that you hold off until the 2nd December, however, at either event, we anticipate it will still only be two adults per student. We have been actively developing Plan A, B, C, D. as we desperately want our Year 7’s to have a Graduation and this is a priority for us.
