20.01.2022 Up and down the well worn garden path we lead ourselves, day by day, ever seeking to sow more, to be better, to grow better. But alas, look around, what we have created here is beautiful just as it is. A garden of eden, a masterpiece of Mother Nature, we work with her and she provides!

20.01.2022 G&G box customers, Have you got a bowl full of those old fashioned tarty Damson plums from your last few boxes? Are they waiting to be used? You can just stew them up for a delicious breaky topping, or here is a delightful recipe for them that a customer has shared. They recommended halving the sugar added! http://angiesrecipes.blogspot.com.au//streusel-damson-plum

19.01.2022 We're attending the Hume Murray Farmer's Market again tomorrow to sell solar-powered fruit and veggies all the way from fantasy land (or very nearby). Hope to see you there!

19.01.2022 G&G are at the brand new junction place farmer's market this morning. Get on down for our usual range. Keep it quiet, but there are still figs for sale.

16.01.2022 There's still an half an hour to go, and these melons are juicy sweet. Come down to the lincoln causeway market before 12 and we will give you the best rockmelon you've tasted in your life for a bargain price!

15.01.2022 Come and say happy new year to G and G at the Beechworth Farmers Market before it gets too hot to handle. (The weather, that is, not the market.)

14.01.2022 Supported by the indefatigable Mrs Greenwood, G + G will be selling garlic plaits and loose bulbs at the Beechworth Farmer's Market tomorrow (9am -12pm). Get yours.

12.01.2022 G&G will be sharing some little gems from the veggie patch on Saturday morning at the Beechworth Farmers Market, 9am - 12pm. If you come early you might nab yourself an eggplant, or a start of season rockmelon or fig, just like the early bird's worm. Later risers will be sure to find carrots, beets, silver beet, spinach, tomatoes, cucs, zucs, plums, basil, rocket and parsley. Mr Frog won't be for sale, but he is happy hanging out minding your veggies until they make the journey from the patch to your mouths. See you early!

10.01.2022 [Testing one, two (still works).] We'll be selling veggies tomorrow at the Hume Murray Farmer's Market on the Lincoln Causeway from 8-12. Our array is increasing with this warm weather, so hopefully it's worth your while to come and say hello!

09.01.2022 It's an absolutely splendid morning and G&G are waiting to have a yarn with you at the junction place market. Plenty of delicious greens and quirky fruit.

08.01.2022 What a glorious morning for a veggie market. Get on down, buy a pumpkin and say g'day to G&G.

08.01.2022 It’s the definition of the perfect day for pumpkin soup here in Beechworth. Come and buy the ingredients.

07.01.2022 Attention G&G fans! Shane Howard and Sal Kimber are performing; and former opposition leader Dr John Hewson is speaking in Yackandandah this Saturday Night at 7pm. It's a fundraiser for Totally Renewable Yackandandah. Tix: https://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx

04.01.2022 Melbourne based G&G fans, your patience has finally paid off. Our good friends at PROJECT Forty Nine #project_49 of Beechworth fame are opening a deli/restaurant at 107 Cambridge St #Collingwood on Thursday 1st December, and our new season's organic garlic plaits will be for sale. Drop on down to get a plait, say g'day to Rocco and Lisa, and check out their wares! https://www.facebook.com/ProjectFortyNine/

03.01.2022 Dear G&G fans and citrus lovers generally, We have a fair few grapefruit that we are looking to move. If you want to buy some (prefer orders 10kg +) and are in Beechworth, Yack, the Dong, Albury or possibly even Wang then touch base and we'll see if we can facilitate an exchange. Price is 2/kg. Grapefruit is a great fruit and it certainly packs a punch in the vit-c department in these winter months. We find it has a really long shelf life, so why not stock up and plough through a box over the cooler months?

03.01.2022 Are you going to Scarborough Fair ie. Beechworth Farmers Market tomorrow morning? Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, Remember us, as ones who lived there For once we graced her regularly. Do you know the tune?... We’re back and alongside the four old time must have herbs, we will have PUMPKINS of superb mature orange flesh, LEMONGRASS to add to your Thai pumpkin soup, liquid gold OLIVE OIL to sprinkle on top, RHUBARB for your stew, GRAPEFRUITS to keep to you well, navel ORANGES to squeeze in your navel, and a few bunches of wilderness. Come, come.

03.01.2022 G + G Garlic Plaits are available again. There really is no better Christmas present (except maybe a pony, and you really should consider how practical one of those would be). Let us know how many you want! We can arrange for you to pick up plaits in Beechworth (today), Yackandandah, and Albury/ Wodonga.... Plaits are also available in Collingwood this year. More info on that soon. Prices range from $20 - $45.

03.01.2022 With spring nearing its end and the onset of some hot weather, you're probably wondering when G&G veggie boxes might grace your kitchen bench once again. If you have been a weekly summer veggie box customer or subscriber, the bad news is that G&G won't be doing weekly boxes this summer. We are regretful to be letting you loyal veggie munchers down, but don't worry, our boxes will be back. The good news is that we have bought a farm! Still in Allans Flat, and we are in the process of regenerating the soil for future veggie patches! We do have a small patch for the summer and you will be able to find our produce at the thriving Saint Monday Cafe in Yackandandah, and we are also hoping to do a few farmers markets in Wodonga. Follow us here to find out future market dates.
