21.01.2022 At Greenwood Lane Cove, our children are involved in our daily Munch & Move program. The pre-schoolers have the opportunity to engage in their favourite story ‘We are going on the bear hunt‘ with different yoga poses. Everyone was confident with their poses and their balance, especially when they did the downward pressing dog and tree pose. This encourages the children to keep their bodies physical, and encouraged discussions about movement and keeping ourselves healthy.

17.01.2022 True or false? School readiness is defined by a child’s ability to count, write their name and know their ABCs. The answer - false! This is not the case, pandemic or no pandemic! We're here to support your child with their transition to school, especially in a year where learning may have been disrupted along the way.

16.01.2022 At Greenwood Hunters Hill, ANZAC day has been recognised through various learning experiences and discussions. One of the most popular experiences was the creation of an Lest We Forget Flag using leaves, cut-outs from magazines, branches, and paint! Our preschoolers also paid tribute to our soldiers by standing in front of the flag in silence for 1 minute and placed some poppy flowers they created below the flag. The Early Learners enjoyed baking ANZAC cookies for their afternoon tea while learning about mathematical and science concepts (STEM) and painting with rosemary herbs from our garden.
