19.01.2022 As a parent, I always tried to discipline my children gently and with kindness. I chose my words and actions carefully, even when they did dumb stuff that I knew they shouldn’t have done. I think I did a pretty good job, they’ve all grown and flowered to be fabulous adults who I now count as friends. I’m sure if you asked them tho..... Mum did let fly occasionally! #wordsofwisdom

17.01.2022 Looks like a few inside days coming up. Time to get all those jobs I’ve been wanting to do, finished up. Spring is taking its time coming to Springbrook, and our bees are desperate for the sunshine. Our nuc orders have unfortunately been delayed a few weeks, as we just need the warmth to get the girls cracking on. #come on spring

16.01.2022 Hi everyone We've decided to step away from social media for a while. Some of you have been with us from the beginning and it feels like we've been through a lot together. Thank you for the constant encouragement, messages, questions and so much more.... You've really driven us to be the best we can be and you've made Greenwood Farm feel so welcome on social media. 2020 and Covid has not been great for the Farm, and it gave us a lot of time to think about what was important to us, what was working, and what was not, long story short.... its not social media, and some aspects of our operations. We feel like we've grown away from our followers, and have been posting for the sake of it, not because we had something amazing to share. We want to experience life, real life, not live vicariously through a phone or tablet. We’re certainly not in it for the cash grab like so many are, and to be honest, we would hate it if we were. We won't be disappearing altogether, we'll be here from time to time, but only when we've really got something great to say or important information to give. Some changes will happen on the website and some less popular parts of Greenwood Farm will be scaled back/removed. This will free us up for what we consider the REAL important things in life, like spending time with family and friends. We're hoping to do less and less over time as we attempt to break up with the phone - which has become a bit of an unhealthy addiction over the years. We'd like to thank all our suppliers, customers, guests, diners and YOU, the person that likes EVERY post, that comments religiously, even when its not your thing. Thank you to our entire network and we're sure you're going to LOVE this he new direction we're headed in 2021/2022. Thanks again, Angi and Paulie x

16.01.2022 There’s nothing like a cup of tea when you need a quick pick me up. If you’re up on the mountain during the holiday period, why not book in for a sneaky morning or afternoon tea? We’d love to see you!

16.01.2022 We all have dreams. These holidays might give you extra time to think about what’s important. And if they are? Shout it to the rooftops and follow through with a plan! #dreaming

13.01.2022 Got stacks of ham leftover from Christmas Day? Here’s a winner dinner idea! Make a yummy béchamel (butter, flour & milk) add cheese , cut up your leftover ham, cook off some broccoli and macaroni, then throw them all together in a casserole dish. Top with more cheese (of course) and bake for 20 minutes. Yummy! I’m taking one to a NYE party! Let me know how you go! #leftovers

12.01.2022 Peanut Butter Cookies. Crispy, crunch and just sweet enough. After all, it’s all about Australian grown peanuts! #peanutbuttercookies

12.01.2022 People often say, no regrets. I have many. Sometimes in the middle of the night or on my quiet times they come to me. First I dwell on them, then anxiety rises, then I get mad or sad depending on the regret. What I have learnt tho, is these come to you so you can learn from your mistakes and those horrible reminders and feelings must be let go. So regrets, yes, I have a few, but like the Frank Sinatra song says....... I did it my way, and am getting better at letting those reminders go. #regrets

08.01.2022 Today is R U Ok day. Today and EVERYDAY ask someone you love if they’re ok. People are tired, people are worried, people are stressed for a myriad of different reasons. Shit gets serious, and if you’ve got no one to talk with, and then things take a turn for the worst. I’ve seen it, I’ve felt it and I’m heartbroken for those who feel there is no other way. I’ll be checking on my friends today and tell them how loved they are. #ruokday
