16.01.2022 Parents rejoice. School is back tomorrow!!! Schools are ideal for solar as the energy loads match the sun. Jackson School is based in St Albans, Victoria.... Principal Joan O’Connor-Cox, utilised Greenwood Solutions as a one stop solution to solve the school’s energy predicament. There was no option to complete the project with students and staff on-site. The Greenwood team utilized a 10 day window during the Spring school holidays to install and commission the 97.4kW project, which was achieved. Greenwood was able to reduce the school's energy bills by over 50% per year, saving the school $19,000 per annum. Our decision to have solar installed was strategic. Our energy bills were continually increasing with bills exceeding $38,000 annually and striving to offer authentic educational opportunities for our students meant we wanted to show our students how we could use renewable energy to be more sustainable.
