25.01.2022 Scales don’t tell the whole story. If you are working towards some health goals for yourself, Scales are not always a good indicator. This is why measuring your inches is so important as you continue on your health journey or transformation. Your clothes can also be a great guide, belts are one good non scale guide.... I know my scale weight has plateaued within a 2kg range but my shape is still changing due to my body composition changing between fat and muscle. Hope this image can explain why. 14.01.2022 Protein is so important in our daily nutritional intake. Just as important is pacing that intake throughout the day. Most people are too heavily loaded towards dinner at night as the main source of protein but it’s been proven time and time again that haveing a minimum of three good intakes of protein a day(our three meals) yields far between results in muscle retention, strength, balance etc and especially in the older age bracket. ... It’s also been proven that protein at breakfast and lunch is far more important then at night time, as a starting base for better health. Obviously if you want to build muscle, 4-5 intakes of protein in that 35-40g each time is crucial to build that muscle and boost our metabolism to burn the fat. If you ever wondered what meat holds more protein per gram, here is a great guide for you.
