21.01.2022 The plate design has undergone a lot of tweaking. I did some simulations and more tweaking. This one is pretty strong. Under 14 tons of tension it only bent by 3 and a half mm. and that's without being mounted into a cabinet onto a sturdy wooden frame. I'll still play around with it a bit so that it is strong where it counts and take the weight off where I can, so that it's not to heavy. This one weighs in at 325Kg at the moment.

11.01.2022 Repairing old broken hammer spring threads. I replaced them with hemp and bees wax.
