19.01.2022 Curious about the various Covid vaccine mechanisms? Here is a reputable short overview from the Mayo Clinic. https://www.mayoclinic.org//different-types-/art-20506465

19.01.2022 We have just begun a 3 day lockdown here in Brisbane. There has been a few cases of community transmission. Luke and I, both AHPRA registered health practitioners will keep working. We will continue with our usual health and safety measures. Please wear a mask when you come in. We will be. You know the drill, if you have Covid, or flu like symptoms, please don't come in to the clinic until you have been tested. We are concerned for your well being, and that of our work collea...gues. Recently in clinic we have been seeing the effects of the trauma of last year. It has been and continues to be, challenging times. Please continue your treatment. Please talk to us and others and get the care you, we, all need. Our moods, symptoms, health and wellbeing are not ours alone. We are influenced by and influence those around us. Patients ask me if I get treatment and the answer is yes. I regularly see people who are confidants, supportive, teachers, honest and direct. For me, a meditative practice, a way to be open and curious, is indispensable. In response to these times, in May, with 2 good friends, Tania Balil and John Rohrig we will host an exhibition/event to reconsider connection. Watch this feed for further info. Please take care in these uncertain days. "A passage in the Huangdi Neijing reads: ‘When anger abounds and does not end, then it will harm the mind.’ Just as in the case of tools or machines, there are ways in which we can use our bodies that overtax or harm them, and thus cause injury and illness (including mental illness), according to ancient Chinese scholars. This is an astute insight into the nature of illness." https://psyche.co//chinese-philosophy-has-long-known-that-

01.01.2022 Another good essay by colleague Eran Evan on Bn Tún Tng, a very useful formula. One I have had prescribed for me, and it was very helpful. A common formula in my own practice. "This formula treats Bn Tún qi, with surging into the chest, abdominal pain, and alternating heat and cold. When yang collapses, and the spleen is vanquished, (this causes) sinking and obstruction in Liver-wood, wood qi depressed effusion, and surging from the umbilicus, abdomen, chest and diaphragm, (resulting in) pain and concurrent heat and cold." https://eraneven.com/2021/04/10/musings-on-ben-tun-tang/
