06.01.2022 ASSISTANCE FOR BUSINESS The Queensland Government has announced the following: $500 Rebate on electricity bills for small and medium sized businesses that consume less than ... 100,000 Kilowatts per hour, this will automatically be applied to your electricity bills. Liquor licensing fees waived for businesses impacted by enforcing safety industry shutdowns. Payroll tax relief is available via application. This includes refunds of payroll tax for 2 months, a payroll holiday for 3 months, and deferral of paying payroll tax for the 2020 calendar year. This is for businesses affected by Coronavirus if their current turnover, profit, customers supply contracts or other factors are negatively affected when compared to normal operating conditions. 05.01.2022 ASSISTANCE FOR INDIVIDUALS AND CENTRELINK Federal Government has announced the following: The Economic Support payment is Two payments of $750 for income support recipients. The first being distributed from 31 March and the second from 13 July. ... Criteria for the second payment is different with the introduction of the Coronavirus supplement. This means you eligible for either the 2nd economic support payment ($750) or the Coronavirus supplement ($550 Ftly). Examples of this are A person receiving only family tax Benefit will receive both Economic Support payments of $750. A person on a jobseeker payment you will receive the first Economic Supplement payment ($750) and the Coronavirus Supplement ($550 Ftly) Waiting periods have also been waived. The ability to access $10,000 of your super in the 19/20 and 20/21 financial year. This money will not be taxed, and it will not affect Centrelink Veterans Affairs Payments. The Queensland Government has announced the following: $200 Rebate for all 2.1 million homes to offset the cost of water and electricity, this will automatically be applied to your electricity bills.
