23.01.2022 When designing this harbourside home it was essential for the interior design to remain subtle and light with variations on white. This allowed for exhilarating pops of plum, purple violet and lilac, which appeared as an intense burst on cushions, throws and vases and in softer translations on rugs throughout the homes white backdrop.
23.01.2022 We may be known mostly for our interior design, but we also design exteriors, and this gives us an advantage of looking at the entire project holistically. This three-storey architectural modernist residence is a great example where the materiality of the exterior played a key role in connecting inside and outside, where concrete blocks also feature as a backdrop to the interior.

15.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all amazing fathers and in remembrance of all those who have passed. This portrait was taken for House & Garden and featured the family home. It was also celebrated in my latest book The Patterned Interior which was dedicated to my father.
14.01.2022 On entrance at this Brisbane house, we featured modernist abstract ribbon sculptures by Artist Dan Murphy. Perched on plinths to each side of the hallway they create drama and add an organic element to the lines and geometry. 07.01.2022 Todays throwback Friday is a one-bedroom apartment we did in Fitzroy. The boldly patterned wallpaper doesnt always make a room look smaller and in this case, the diagonal stripes of the wallpaper seem to elongate the walls an effect heightened by the narrow portraits and low sofa table.
