25.01.2022 Ella My first Nationals last year was an awesome experience. I had trillions of butterflies in my tummy. My team made me laugh to forget about my nerves. Nationals is all about working hard, trying your best and having fun as a team. The big girls inspire me to keep doing my best. I would love to be like them one day. I am really grateful for having awesome teachers. Personally I love to get up on the stage and have a go, make my teachers, mum, dad and family proud. Really that’s all that matters! I love making friends too. I love to do my Irish dancing Also, from your dancing friends - we are wishing you a big happy birthday our lovely Ella!

19.01.2022 GENA Having missed the previous couple of years, Nationals last year was the first major completion I went to in years. Competing reminded me how much I love dancing and how very grateful I am to be part of such a supportive school. I'm looking forward to, hopefully, going to Nationals again next year

18.01.2022 We are so excited to be celebrating St Patrick’s Day this year! Grateful to @unicanberra and @kingomalleys for providing us with the opportunity for our dancers to perform We look forward to seeing our beautiful dancers on stage tomorrow and lots of friendly faces in the audience!

15.01.2022 BREANA Nationals is one of my favourite dance competitions and I will really miss it this year. I love getting to travel all over Australia, dance to music by some of the world's best musicians and alongside amazing dancers. One of my favourite memories is performing the two hand with Chelsea. It was such a fun dance and it was really special to be able to share it with one of my best friends

14.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day to all our Dance Mums and Grandmothers . Hope you’re enjoying this beautiful day in Canberra!

11.01.2022 Another Irish Halloween Pretty amazing!!

11.01.2022 EMMA I think there is nothing more rewarding then dancing on a stage that you have worked so hard for. Nationals had always been a dream, and it’s only been in my recent years as a dancer that I’ve been able to make it come true. Last year at Nationals I smashed my own personal goals and I saw a major improvement in my results. This is my proudest moment as a dancer. I am so lucky to have the support of my amazing dance teachers and dance academy who continue to push me to do my best

07.01.2022 JACKIE Nationals has always been an exciting part of my year; something I look forward to. After all the hard work and stress, it just feels like everything comes together. I particularly love being a part of team dances because of how it brings us all together. Not being at Nationals this year has reminded me that even without the typical competition season, I’ve still been able to grow and spend time with the people brought into my life because of dance. I am already beyond excited for nationals next year, as this year has reminded me of how lucky I am to still be dancing and a part of the Gregory team

07.01.2022 CHELSEA nationals is my favourite week of the whole year and I love it because we get to show off how hard we have worked. I’m so proud of myself, my amazing teachers, my parents and of course my best friends who i’m so grateful to train and dance with. It makes me so sad knowing this week we should be in perth, pushing ourselves to the limit and seeing people we haven’t seen all year. I can’t wait for next year and for what it has to bring

07.01.2022 OLIVIA Last year was my first year competing at Nationals. I was lucky enough that it was in my home town of Canberra, which meant my family and friends could come and watch me. It also meant that all of my Gregory Academy family were there to support and help me. The big girls helped me to run through my dances and made sure that I was ready to go when I stood on to that Nationals stage for the very first time. As well as my dancing friends, I also really appreciated the support and encouragement of Liz, Jackie and Megan. I hope to be able to represent the Gregory Academy at Nationals again one day

07.01.2022 IVA Competing at Nationals is always so amazing because it is all the hard work from the year being put to use. Last year I was so proud of myself because I pushed myself harder than I ever had before and I made my teachers proud. I am so thankful I get to compete at Nationals every year and hopefully next year we can get back to it again

06.01.2022 Happy Birthday to our golden girl Jackie Thank you for always going above and beyond for all of us in the Academy. You are a beautiful role model and mentor to our stars.

06.01.2022 Posted @withregram @realvictoriarose Day 14 of #frocktober I just adore Irish Dancing! At eighteen months old I sat in front of River Dance bopping up and down to the music absolutely enthralled!... Then at eight years old I threw my legs up and and down, straight legs, straight arms for 3 whole minutes in a pub in Ireland for my very proud Irish relative. And I did it terribly! I had no idea what I was doing, but it was certainly entertaining as he did almost fall off his chair laughing. And now, I'm finally in classes, and I can dance my little heart out! Thanks so much to Gregory Irish Dancing for lending me this incredible dress! 05.01.2022 TARA After taking a year off, I have had a lot of doubts about coming dancing again. But as soon as I did I was reminded why I love dancing. Over the years during nationals season is the hardest working studio and im so happy I'm a member of the Gregory family. With so many lovely memories of this time all I can do is wait for the next nationals next year only to make more

05.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all our dancers, families and friends We are so grateful to have a fabulous dance community ! We would like to thank you for your support and love during crazy 2020 and only hope we can do our best to enjoy our time together 2021 Our Christmas mini concert was absolutely amazing as I’m sure you will all agree - from our little Gs to Champ dancers who really showed us that we can enjoy ourselves even when life is tough as long as the kids are hap...py! Hope Santa is good to you all Love and best wishes Liz, Jackie, Megan xxx

01.01.2022 SOPHIE Throughout my nine years that I have been dancing with Gregory it has brought not only me but my family so many lifelong friends, wonderful memories and many life lessons. Although this year has been a difficult one it many ways it has taught us to be grateful, to build resilience and to enjoy the small things in life. I can not wait to be back dancing with my friends on stage in 2021. At our Academy are fortunate to have teachers who go above and beyond for us each and every week. Their guidance, care and support means the world to me and I hope to make them proud.

01.01.2022 SARAH This time of year for the past ten years, I have competed at the National Championships. This year not being there is a really odd feeling. Through dancing on the big stage I am able to do what I love, support my fabulous dancing friends, and have been honoured to do some of the girls' makeup and help them feel amazing! I have been so lucky to have such great support from my teachers and my lovely team mates. I am missing it so much this year but I am so looking forward to be competing with my dancing fam again!
