16.01.2022 The library has been overflowing! Id like to clarify the concept of the street library, take a book, leave a book, share a book... We receive lots of book donations but unfortunately very few books are taken! The street library is not a charity bin to just drop off unwanted books For example, I dont think its likely anyone will want to borrow a textbook on Organisational Change Strategies (see photos)? We would be so grateful if people could be considerate in the bo...oks they leave- is it likely someone would take it and read it? If not, please just take it directly to your preferred charity / recycling. Please feel free to take any books you would like to read, or pass any on to others so there is a good turnover and the library will be successful. Thank you for your understanding

14.01.2022 Children's books: donations welcome! Our entire collection is out on loan. If you or anyone you know have children's books you would like to see shared in our library, please drop them in. We love to see books being returned or others donated in their place, so more kids can enjoy them and share with neighbours. Thanks

12.01.2022 Any ideas on how to stop people dumping textbooks in the street library?! I'll try putting up a sign explaining the purpose of the street library. These 5 education textbooks were put in the library yesterday Unfortunately there is no appetite for textbooks amongst neighbours, so I end up having to dispose of people's unwanted ones This is not something I'm interested in doing. I hope people understand this, thanks.
