18.01.2022 With the season well under way, MFA would like to remind all coaches of the expectations and codes that come with being the coach of a team. The Coach Code of B...ehaviour Infographic from Play by the Rules - making sport inclusive, safe and fair is a handy reminder of this. We also encourage all members of the community to take a few minutes to complete the interactive scenario below that explores the nature of verbal abuse and suggests strategies for coaching in a more positive and supportive way: https://www.playbytherules.net.au///verbally-abusive-coach

08.01.2022 Ho ho ho all, We are getting closer to the Santa truck coming to town. The elves are getting the lolly bags with wrapped lollies and Santa is hoping his belly s...till fits in his pantsCOVID hasn’t helped the waist line and Mrs Claus is a good cook! Our first stop is Gregory Hills and Gledswood Hills on Saturday 5 December. We estimate our time in the area will be between 1pm and 6pm. Please see specific routes and stopping times further down. The DRIVING routes are what the truck will be using as a guide. Should time allow on the day we will visit additional streets where possible. Please note these routes have no stops. The Santa truck will need to keep rolling but Santa will be visible in the passenger seat, the sirens will be used and lollies will be given out from the truck. We also plan on making 2 x 30 min stops at Marcellin and Currawong Park. We anticipate Marcellin Park will be approximately 1:30pm and Currawong Park approximately 3pm. Please note these times are only estimates and we will update the local Facebook pages for each estate on the day if we are running behind. Please no gatherings! While we are doing our best to keep you all safe, we ask that you all keep us safe. If you or anyone in your family is unwell, you may stand at your letter box or front yard and Santa will still drive past for a wave. Please do not come to the truck if you are unwell or have travelled overseas in the last 14 days. Please keep a 1.5 metre distance from brigade members and surrounding people that are not in your immediate family at all times. For anyone wishing to get into the truck for a photo with Santa at the park stops we will be asking you to have your temperature checked. As NSW Health guidelines state that any temperature 37.5 or higher is a low end fever, we will be unable to allow anyone into the truck with a temperature of 37.5 or above. We thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding. Santa and his helpers can’t wait to see you on the day! This is different to the normal way, but it’s the safe way.
