25.01.2022 Securite, Securite, Securite Tropical Cyclone Seroja is currently forecast to make landfall somewhere on the Midwest/Gascoyne coast, proceeded by its possi...ble passage near the Abrolhos Islands on Sunday 11 April. This is a Category 2 cyclone which could result in damaging wind gusts between 125 to 164 kph, seas and wave heights in excess of 7m, storm surge and coastal damage and erosion. Department of Fire & Emergency Services strongly recommend all skippers, passengers, hosts & visitors on the Abrolhos return to the mainland as soon as possible for the duration of the Tropical Cyclone. Prior to departure skippers are reminded the safety of their vessel and passengers is their responsibility. Conditions are expected to worsen each day until the Tropical Cyclone passes. STOLEN: 5.4m Quintrex runabout (boat) from ...the front yard in Bicton, this morning. Likely after 7am. Its a white alumimium runabout on a trailer. Grey Yamaha outboard. Rego EK458. It did not have the canvas fitted over the deck when stolen. Any information on its whereabouts would be received with much appreciation!
