03.01.2022 September 17 1997 (21 years ago) I was apart of somthing that not many people can say there apart of & that's the launch of a radio station with the launch of 97.5 Triple G FM in Gunnedah. The original lineup was on Breakfast 6 to 10am The late Matt Ellis, 10 to 2 Greg Parkinson & Yours trully on Afternoons between 2 & 6pm. I have alot of found memories from my time at 3 Rodney Street & Did get to work with some amazing people at the time. Karen Mortimer, Ray McCoy, Christian Bischoff to name a few .Thankyou for the memories & Happy 21st 2GGG 97.5

03.01.2022 As I sit here in quiet reflection tonight rooing the fact that another week has slipped by with no sign of rain in this desperate drought my thourghts sweped back to yesterday's fundraising for Ronald McDonald House charities and it amazes me how generous we truly are as a community. I spent 4 hours in a McDonalds car park walking around with a donation bucket knowing that alot of people out here currently don't have any money at all but they were more than happy to drop the last of their change in this donation bucket I was carrying around and the weight of this bucket got to the point where I needed to get another one. This made me realise how special theise communities really are. Dispite things being so desperate people still have room to give. It's heartwarming on every level.
