16.01.2022 In case you're wondering, the house hasn't sold yet. We're gearing up for more open days - they'll be one weekend each month through spring. Like this page to be informed of the dates. 15.01.2022 The house is on half an acre, half of which is this lovely wilderness. The creek goes up and down with the seasons, but has never flooded the house - and the house has been there since 1923.

09.01.2022 I'm so proud of Alan's landscaping work. The front area was ancient concrete with a narrow flower bed along the fence (which was ugly wire mesh) when we bought the place. Now it's an exquisite cottage garden. The shadow at bottom right is cast by a standard rose in a little circular bed in the middle of the lawn. With three other rose bushes in that corner of the garden I've nicknamed it the Rose Court.

08.01.2022 We've put the standard modern oven back into the fireplace but if I were the new owners I'd get a retro-look cooker on legs - oven and stove side by side, very stylish and not terribly expensive.
