23.01.2022 Elimination Final Teams Congratulations to Brad Wallis for winning the 2nd grade award for his knock of 48 on the weekend with a nice catch and a runout. Congratulations to Todd Jarvis for winning the 5th grade award for his knock of 43 and bowling figures of 1/43 off 10. Also congratulations to Todd and the 5th grade team for a great year. Unfortunately just missed out on finals but there was some great performances from some of the younger guys. Looking forward to seeing w...hat we can achieve next year. Our second grade team has made the finals series again and it will be a do-or-die clash against Derwent at Gretna. Come along and show your support for the Gretna boys.

18.01.2022 ***2019/20 TROPHY DAY*** Hey everyone, . As you are well aware, at the end of last cricket season we were hit with a global pandemic which caused a number of our end of year events to be postponed; including our annual trophy night.... Fortunately for Tassie we are slowly getting back to normal which has allowed us to kick on with social gatherings. This means that we can finally have our annual award presentations (details below). Where: Gretna Cricket Ground When: Saturday 12th September 2020, 2pm start for 3:30pm-4:00pm trophy presentations with BBQ to follow Drinks will be available at bar prices. Similar to the Christmas Party, if every player could bring a salad or side dish for the BBQ it would be greatly appreciated. It would be great to catch up with everyone and celebrate the players and club's achievements last season and hopefully we can go one better this year. Comment below if you are coming so we can estimate food and drinks for the event

17.01.2022 Round 4 Teams Congratulations to Craig Cunningham for winning the 2nd grade award for his match saving knock of 49 followed up with bowling figures of 2 for 26 off 9.1. Craig and Duggo put on 68 runs for the 8th wicket to push the team score up past 180, well done boys Congratulations to Baz Wheeler for winning the 5th grade award for his incredible bowling figures of 6/37 off 10. Unfortunately the game was drawn due to the weather but a fantastic bowling display by Baz.... Josh Whitford will be playing his 50th game this week. Congratulations to Ross Langford for winning the 5th grade award for his knock of 29 in a low scoring game.... 14.01.2022 ROUND 1 TEAMS The AFL season come to a close last week and now the cricket starts. Gretna will be fielding two teams this season in the KSCA; 2nd grade and 5th grade. There has been a great turn out at training over the past few weeks with some new players joining the club. I would like to welcome Bradley Wallis and Richard Graham to the club as well as congratulating Jacob Blackwell and Connor Lennox who will be playing senior cricket this year after coming through the junior ranks. 09.01.2022 Update from Banjo’s New Norfolk From this Monday May 18th we are opening our dining area back up to a maximum of 10 customers at any one time. We are also allow...ed to utilize our outdoor dining for a further 10 customers. Social distancing rules still apply as well our strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures will remain in place. In line with the State Government rules we are allowed a maximum of 23 customers in store at any time. Whilst the restrictions are easing we ask that you please abide by social distancing rules and please only visit if you are well. We also understand that some people may not feel comfortable yet in heading out and for this reason and due to its demand we will continue to offer. 07.01.2022 Round 13 Teams Congratulations to Aaron Maddox for winning the 2nd grade award on the weekend with his bowling figures of 3/28 off 10. It was a close game and Aaron really changed the momentum with his bowling efforts. There were also some great contributions from our lower order batsmen and the incredible bowling effort from Jamie Duggan to finish the game off. Congratulations to Jake Campbell for winning the 5th grade award for his all round effort of 44 runs and 4/20 off 1...0. Outstanding work.
