01.01.2022 LORD REAGS' LONG RANGE FORECAST FOR THE 2020 MILLION DOLLAR CHASE WINNER What you have to understand about Lord Reags' love & lifelong adoration of greyhound racing is the amazing speed of these noble hounds at top speed. At 13, he saw an incredible black & white Sydney bitch by the name of Miss High Lo register some astonishing wins around the old Harold Park and Wentworth Park tracks ... always from seemingly hopeless positions many lengths behind the 2nd last dog in a fiel...d of eight. Her uncanny track sense would kick in halfway down the back straight just as most of her unfamiliar backers were tearing up their betting tickets. She always seemed to be able to weave her way through other runners (traffic) without getting too badly bumped or squeezed to find a rails run in the home straight and hit top gear going 4 lengths to others one. A 13-14 yo kid like Lord Reags became smitten with this dog. Her conquests and battles royal against the extremely fast likes of Valodia (think Red Cadeaux), Roomatic (Hay List) & her other perennial runner-up Kim's Monaro (Pierro) were just legendary to this impressionable lad who walked the Colemans' dogs after school up and down Reynolds Road; Australian Cup winner Ungwilla Lad & Sandown Laurels winner Odious. To give you some idea how amazing this Miss High Lo was, the closest thing Lord Reags has seen as good as her in the modern era was a dog called SWIFT FANTASY. Just watch this 2010 NZ clip and see if you don't experience the same Secretariat-like goosebumps on the back of your neck: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=w_C6pjXZfmE Now, the point of all this? This year's 2020 Million Dollar Chase will be won by a dog with a similar finishing burst to these two champions ... he is not in their class of course (not yet anyway) but he does have their uncanny track sense and notoriously slow starts. His name? AWESOME CATCH trained by Jody Lord. That is Lord Reags' long range forecast for this year's richest greyhound race in the world with $1M to be won!
