22.01.2022 Well what a fantastic day to be out with the hounds at a children's fair! Lynda, Amy and Julie did a wonderful job interacting with public. The hounds won over all the families who stopped for a pat and fingers crossed Miss Gracie has found her forever home We had so many entries for the colouring competition to win a Jenny's hand made hound, we decided there ought to be 2 winners, see pics.

17.01.2022 For those attending the Christmas Parade and have Covid safety questions see below for City of Bunbury's guidelines for the event. Good Afternoon, As discussed last night, there will be Covid-19 safety measures put in place during the 2020 Christmas in the City RAC Street Parade. Event staff will be walking around at the assembly area offering the use of hand sanitiser to all groups in the parade. Please also ensure that anyone who is unwell, stays home from the RAC Street P...arade as an additional precaution. High touch points such as toilets and hand washing facilities will be cleaned regularly as per noted in our Covid-19 Event Plan which has been approved the by the City of Bunbury Health Officers. If anything changes in regards to delivering a Covid-19 safe event, we will be in touch with additional information as it comes to hand. 15.01.2022 Condolences to the Freeman Family on the passing of their lovely Lucy. Lucy and her family have been wonderful Ambassadors for our Greyhounds, volunteering countless hours of their time to supporting our information displays and events. We will miss her happy little face.
14.01.2022 10th Anniversary of the Southwest Greyhound Playgroup Inviting all past, present and future Greyhound owners to come along and celebrate 10 years of play. For a special treat we will have - ... Roving photographer Paul, taking shots of the hounds throughout the afternoon. For a small donation he will send you your very own high quality action/natural hound pic. Jenny will be there with her custom made collars, coats and fund-raising crochet hounds for sale. And most importantly doggy treats for our hounds to enjoy.

14.01.2022 We have just received confirmation GPFL will be in the City of Bunbury Christmas Street Parade 2020! The Parade will be on Sunday the 6th December at 5.30pm, with participants assembling at 4.30pm at the Foreshore Carpark opposite the BREC. Our theme this year will be 'An Aussie Christmas' and we will have the float and walking group as per previous years.... We would love as many of you and your hounds to come along and show the public how awesome our hounds are. If you feel your houndy would love a walk through town surrounded by an adoring audience then this is the event for you. 13.01.2022 Some pics from our first ever PETstock Adoption day display. Thankyou very much to our wonderful volunteers and their gorgeous hounds. I've never seen so many different breeds of dogs (in all shapes and sizes) pass by, and our hounds behaved beautifully

09.01.2022 The Eaton Foreshore Festival is on in 10 days and we need volunteers and their hounds to come along for our display. We need you just for a few hours to let people meet your hound, and talk with them about your adoption/fostering experience. The festival will run from 8.30am to 2.00pm, we'll have two shifts from 0830 till 1100 and 1100 till 2.00pm. 08.01.2022 Unfortunately the Harvey Agricultural Show has been cancelled for this year, see below "ANNOUNCEMENT - HARVEY SHOW 2020 - CANCELLED" As a result of the Australian Government announcement on Friday 13th March, advising against large public gatherings over 500 people and in the interest of public health and safety,... the Harvey Show scheduled for April 4th has now been cancelled. To our valued supporters and traders please bear with us, as we endeavour to contact you all over the coming weeks.
