21.01.2022 With restrictions easing around NSW, we have decided to start allowing clients back inside the clinic. We will now be allowing one person per consultation into the clinic. The person must sanitise hands on entry and wear a mask. Whilst the danger has decreased somewhat, we have to remain vigilant to ensure our staff and clients are kept as safe as possible. We will be continuing with booked consults for the foreseeable future. We ask for everyone’s patience, booking times are a guide and whilst we do our best to stay on time, occasionally consults can become more involved than first thought or emergencies can happen beyond our control.
21.01.2022 It’s that time of year again! The clinic are again supporting Cat Defence Network with their annual Christmas food and treat appeal. If you have any spare cans or bags of cat food or bags of cat treats, you can drop them off at the clinic to help out street cats at Christmas

18.01.2022 We have a client looking for a home for a gorgeous 5 month old boy, he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, he is full of fun and mischief and loves to steal socks! He might be a little shy at first but will really come out of his shell once he gets to know you. If you think you might be able to give Ash a loving forever home, please contact the clinic on 96091500 to find out more

14.01.2022 This is one of lovely patients named Muddy his owners had to share these photos with us! 14.01.2022 we are getting low on newspaper again, if you have some spare, clean newspaper at home we would be very grateful if you could drop it at the clinic
13.01.2022 Today we had little Nala brought in as she was having trouble swallowing. As a curious 10 week old kitten Nala’s owners discovered when they got home yesterday that she had raided the garbage bin and found some old chicken scraps. After a sedation and an X-ray we could see the offending bone and luckily we were able to remove it without too much trouble. Another quick xray confirmed we got it all out and Nala is now recovering well. This really does go to show the dangers of cooked chicken bones in pets.
13.01.2022 The weather is really heating up, with temperature expected to hit the low 40s in coming days, please keep your pets safe. Make sure they have plenty of cool fresh water, plenty of shelter and if possible take them inside in the air conditioning. Please don’t walk your dogs during the day. If you can, place some shallow dishes in shaded spots in the garden for our native birds and reptiles. Keep an eye on your neighbours too, stay safe everyone

04.01.2022 With extreme weather forecast for the next 5 days, please make sure your pets have plenty of shade and cool water, if possible, please keep birds and small pets in doors, and leave some shallow water bowls out for birds and small reptiles. Tomorrow is the start of the heat, please consider leaving any non urgent appointments until the weather cools, we don’t want animals suffering in the heat for routine procedures that can wait. Remember we are working via appointment only, if you need to see the vet please contact us on 96091500
03.01.2022 Today this little darling learnt the hard way about chewing things up and swallowing them. Yesterday he ate some carpet, and while he did manage to throw a lot of it back up, today he was still out of sorts, a quick ultrasound confirmed he still had some carpet in his intestine. This afternoon we did surgery to remove what was left, we were all gobsmacked by the amount still in his intestines! Now it’s all removed he is expected to make a full recovery. This just goes to show the dangers of dogs eating strange things and why it’s important to keep an eye on your fur babies, especially young and inquisitive ones!
02.01.2022 With the extreme heat expected on Saturday, we are asking everyone to consider not booking for non essential consults, this includes vaccinations. We don’t want people waiting with animals in the heat and for everyone’s safety would much prefer you to delay consults for a few days until the weather cools.
