25.01.2022 Great to see #GRIDD Honours graduate (now PhD candidate) Eden Little mentioned in the Campus Morning Mail today as an example of the changing face of undergraduate research: https://campusmorningmail.com.au//angela-brew-on-undergr/

24.01.2022 There is no vaccine or specific treatment for chikungunya virus (CHIKV). This alpha virus is transmitted by mosquitoes. Usually cases of the virus only occur in a select few countries but incidence has been on the rise and cases of the virus have been recorded in many places previously unaffected. Scientists are concerned about this trend. 3rd year HDR student Benjamin Evert is using cell factory technology at GRIDD to make particles coated in CHIKV spike proteins - this may one day lead to a vaccine #HDRimpact

23.01.2022 #GRIDD Director Professor Kathy Andrews was recently featured in the Qld Government's 'Queensland Science Making a Difference' video - watch below or visit the website: https://science.des.qld.gov.au/research/making-a-difference
