Roles will include the provision of direct grief and bereavement counselling as well as specified portfolios for the delivery of support groups, peer support training, education, webinars, resource development, and advocacy for supporting the ongoing health, grief and bereavement care of aged care residents, home care recipients, carers, families, community workers and residential care staff. 05.01.2022 If you need bereavement support after the death or loss of a pet the Companion Animal Loss (CAL) Support Group has been established by ACGB to support adults grieving the loss of a beloved companion animal. The group also supports individuals who have had to relinquish a companion animal. The CAL support group will be held on Monday mornings monthly. It will be a closed group consisting of 6 sessions.
