22.01.2022 As you all know our major annual event, the Griffin Christmas Carnival, has had to be cancelled for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We would still like to spread joy to the Griffin Community with the help of Anytime Fitness Sunday 6th of December we will take to the streets of Griffin with Santa and his elves in tow. We want to make sure everyone gets some Christmas joy so we would appreciate any donations towards the lollies being handed out by Santa's elves. All donations can be dropped to Anytime Fitness or to Coffee@Monty’s (GSS families only). Please ensure lollies are individually wrapped. Arrive hungry and feast on a variety of delicious eats from our food vendors. Pack a picnic rug or camping chairs and take a seat in front of the stage. Don’t forget a hat!!!!... 21.01.2022 QUESTION: Is it worth me getting my child a ride armband??? ANSWER: YES! There is a great number of rides and inflatables for younger kids including a Rockwall, chair o plane, cup & saucer, 3 amazing inflatables, giant slide, giant chairs and the dodgem cars. These are all good for the younger kids too. It also saves you extra time without having to line up for tickets then lining up rides . 16.01.2022 WHAT TO BRING The Griffin Christmas Carnival is THIS SATURDAY!!! Here is a handy guide of what we recommend to bring to the carnival to ensure you have the best day out! Sunscreen, hat and mozzie repelant - the weather forecast is predicted to be very warm on Saturday. Sunscreen will be available from the Information Tent. Picnic rug or camping chairs for comfortable viewing of the stage. ... Water to stay hydrated. You can fill up your bottles at the school bubblers and drinks will be available for purchase from the P&C stall and food trucks. Singing voices! We want to hear everyone singing along to the carols and getting into the festive spirit The Griffin Christmas Carnival is in this Saturday 7th Dec on Tesch Road Griffin 3pm - 8pm. 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM SANTA Hi Boys and girls, I believe some of you are worried that I might not make it to your home this Christmas eve due to the Covid virus. Please don't worry I have clearance from every country and myself and all my Reindeer are all fit and well. Due to all the restrictions in the work place some of my elves have not been able to help in my workshop, also we cannot get all of the materials to produce all of the toys you have asked for. We are working a...s hard as we can, but some toys will not be ready. If you do not get everything you asked for it is not because you have not been very good, in fact you have all behaved excellent during these tough times. It is because unfortunately I can not have them by Christmas, some of you may get what you asked for, but if your sister, brother or friend does not please be kind to them as I know they will be disappointed. Everyone will get presents and if its not exactly what you asked for I hope you understand. So stay safe, keep up the good work and I will see you all on Christmas eve but you will be asleep so you won't see me.
