The key focus of the role will be to manage the day-to-day operations of our retail section. In addition to our farms at Merriwagga, Mirrool and Ariah Park we also have a number of off-farm rural businesses based out of Griffith. An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team on our Mirrool property. This is a mixed farming property consisting of 3700Ha of broad acre winter crops and 1800 Dohne ewes. The focus of this role will be broad acre machinery operation and maintenance with some assistance provided to the livestock operations. While this role will be based at Mirrool the successful candidate will be required to travel from time to time to perform duties at other properties in the group. Ideally you will have a chemical users license and a HC license. You should also possess good communication skills and be happy to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Experience in machinery maintenance and operation is desirable but not essential as well as experience with stock. A package in line with experience is available along with an airconditioned, four-bedroom home with all-weather road and access to a school bus. A work vehicle, tablet and phone will also be supplied as part of the package.
