24.01.2022 Free online occupational science seminar - OCCUPATIONAL JUSTICE. Register at http://tiny.cc/ASOS_1 Thanks to the Australasian Society of Occupational Scientists and occupational therapy teams and GriffithOT and Australian Catholic University.

24.01.2022 Our Year 3 student occupational therapists recently finished their part-time practice education in settings where occupational therapists are not typically employed. Here are a few snaps to give a taste of just some of the contributions they made. Of course the photos don't capture the huge amount of work they undertook, nor the significant theory and research that supported their organisational/community level interventions. Well done to the students and thank you to all the practice educations, on-site supervisors, and host organisations.

07.01.2022 Hello everyone! Our apologies for the silence on this page, but like everyone we have been dealing with the impacts of COVID-19. Students and staff have been busy making the transition to online learning, managing placement issues - thank you to all of our partners and colleagues for supporting us with this in particular, planning for the rest of this year, and staying safe and at home. Thank you to all of our students who have been truly professional and understanding throughout it all. Our first year students have completed their annual photography assignment (working virtually) and we are now able to share the entire exhibition online (fingers crossed for the technology). Please take a look at the exhibition and share it with others.

06.01.2022 Thank you to the Griffith Health First Peoples Health Unit team, led by Prof Roianne West, for our GriffithOT First Peoples Planning Day. We had a day full of frank and supportive discussions, with some great ideas for moving forward. Stay tuned!

01.01.2022 Congatulations to GriffithOT staff and students who either have articles in the latest Occupational Therapy Australia Connections magazine or have their work featured in it. One article is about our third year placements in non-traditional settings and the other about the first year photography exhibition.
