23.01.2022 This years event would not have been possible without the help of our dedicated committee and volunteers, massive support from our sponsors, the event entrants that spend so much time making sure their vehicles are in show room condition for the spectators to enjoy and, of course, our supported charities, CanAssist Griffith and Leeton-Griffith Riding for the disabled. Thank you for all your support, and look forward to seeing you all for next years Griffith's Biggest Lap on October 3rd 2020.

09.01.2022 To our Biggest Lap Family, It's with a heavy heart we regretfully wish to inform our patrons that due to COVID-19 restrictions the GBL team has made the tough decision to cancel this years event. Our community and patron's wellbeing is our number one priority. Due to the complexity of traffic control, sponsorships and organisation of the event we require at least 5 months of preparation. With the State Government's easing of restrictions being so un-predictable we can't foresee the restrictions being lifted to a level appropriate for the scale of GBL this year. We can't wait to see you all at next years event 2nd October 2021.

04.01.2022 A huge thankyou to Nudge and Toni from complete traffic solutions. There work often goes un noticed but our committee knows exactly how hard you guys work. From the tireless late nights that go into how they will attack the traffic management plan, the efficiency of being able to close down Griffith CBD in a matter of minutes from when that clock strikes 4pm, Getting 500 cars through Griffiths busiest intersection in 25minutes, being able to manage all those intersections, and packing up all in such a small window of time frame. Without you guys this event would simply not be able to go forward. The dedication to your job and generosity to the community is to be honoured by all.
