23.01.2022 Adani,Ambani &other corporates had an eye on massive food grain market of India.They had few problems: Problem 1 : States had different rules & regulations 2buy food grains frm farmers. It was difficult 4corporates 2handle so many states with so many different regulations & taxes... Modi Solution: Took control from states and made 1 act for whole country. Corporates happy now. Problem 2: Corporates will buy crops and store them. But Essential Commodity act will stop them for storing crops for long time, as it increase prices in market. Modi Solution: Food crops will not come under Essential Commodity act and can be stored for longer period. Corporates again happy. Problem 3 It was hard to determine that what type of crop will be grown by farmers. Modi Solution: Contract farming for farmers where they will be told by corporates to grow what kind of crop. Corporates again happy. Problem 4 : How Corporates will handle court cases if anything goes wrong against farmers. Modi Solution: Farmers can not go to courts. They will go to SDM and DC. Corporates again happy as they can bribe them They say bills are in favor of farmers. .... 01.01.2022 GRIFFITH COVID ALERT On December 21, a passenger with a confirmed case of COVID-19 was on the 2.10pm flight, number ZL6469, from Sydney to Griffith. That per...son has since returned to Sydney (by car) where they are self-isolating. Thank you for doing the right thing. Apart from the one household they visited no other contacts have been identified in the region. The household they visited has been informed and is isolating. There is no absolutely need for panic buying etc - but some sensible precautions are needed. All passengers on that flight should remain in isolation and present for testing at a new pop-up clinic, which will be open today (Boxing Day) from 10am to 5pm at 50-52 Yambil St, Griffith (next to Office Choice). Please get tested if you know you have come into contact with anyone from this flight, or if you've got any flu-like symptoms. Testing is also available on Saturday at Griffith Respiratory Clinic, 105 Binya Street Griffith from 9 to 12.30pm and 1pm to 5pm. Call the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline on 1800 831 099 to arrrange your test. We've done a fanastic job in keeping cases in Murray amongst the lowest in the world.
