24.01.2022 Finally got a suspension trainer today! These can be hung off a bar or used in an inside doorway. Here's a couple of my favourite abs & core exercises to do on them (mountain climbers and pike). Expect to smash the calories with these exercises!



24.01.2022 I'm finding more and more a good way for me to reach my exercise targets is by timing - countdown timing! Everyone that owns a phone should have one of these. Simply pause when you stop your workout, and resume when you start again. As long as you complete exercise for that amount by the end of the day, mission accomplished! This works especially well with cardio! Today I am aiming for 60 mins of weights, and 2 cardio sessions of 45 min. Total 2.5 hours. Countdown is on!

23.01.2022 WORKOUT BELOW! Another workout complete - Burned all these calories in just over an hour! My Workout Partner burned over 700 calories doing this same workout alongside me! Here's what we did! Chest, Triceps and Abs! ... - Push-ups (3x10 reps) - Flat DB Bench Press (3x10 reps) - Chest Press machine (3x10 reps) - Tricep Kickbacks (3x10 reps) - Rope Pushdown superset with bench dips 3x10 reps Abs - Side Bends (3x15 reps each side) - Lying Bent Knee Raise (1x 50) - Oblique crunches (30 each side) - Leg Flutters (2 x 50 reps) - Swiss Ball Crunch (50 reps) - Alt toe touches (50 reps) - Plank with alternate leg raise (3 x 20reps) - Crunches (40 reps) Total 500 reps for Abs! Enjoy!

22.01.2022 Here is a great article that explains why I recommend all my clients to do some form of high intensity exercise followed by lower intensity if they wish to accelerate fat burn. Walking etc at a low to moderate pace is definitely best to access your fat stores for energy, however you don't burn much fat after you rest and recover! Read below to learn how to burn fat while sitting on the couch!

18.01.2022 I’ve had a fair bit of contact lately so I thought I would officially put up a post! Hope all my past clients and those who followed the page are still kicking goals! I’ve been busy the last year and a bit while not operating and glad to announce my family has extended by one! I now have two boys and have been enjoying the time with them, so business will remain closed (for now). I have views to start up in 2019 so let’s see how that turns out... First the task ahead is get my pre-second baby body back, which I am enjoying taking nice and steady. I may document the rest of my journey on this page as I go. 15.01.2022 Sorry to everyone who I haven't had a chance to reply to since last Friday for fitness help! Have been really busy trying my luck in Mackay for a chance to win a Vegas trip. I didn't take out the big one (#43 out of approx 600 runners who tried their luck), but took out the freeroll game of 80 runners for some cash! What do you like to do in your spare time? Life is all about balance, and after 21+ hours in a seat the last two days, I can't wait to get back in the gym to train this week and get out and about. #alsroadtovegas

13.01.2022 Stayed up until late last night reading my book - so having a pick me up for a pre workout This stuff is the best I've tried so far!!! Packed full of B vitamins with a hint of natural caffeine, these vegan fizz sticks are the best to get me through when I'm feeling low energy. As an anxiety sufferer, most caffeine products including coffee, energy drinks, preworkout and even Coca Cola tend to give me unwanted tingles, racey heart and palpitations, my anxiety increases and sometimes sends me into panic. This stuff has no peak or crash, just steady lasting energy! Pomegranate is my flavour of choice, citrus is also available. Ready to kill another day!

12.01.2022 We all love to hate leg day. Here are some of the exercises I included in my home workout today! You can do these at home with bodyweight or a dumbbell for some extra resistance. I also included some standing leg abductions for the gluteus medius using 5kg leg weights, and some calf raises holding dumbbells. I completed 3 sets of 10 reps of each exercise, calf raises 3 x 25 reps!

08.01.2022 Under eating - the worst thing for your gains! You can get a lean body without cutting carbs. If you learn about macros and timing of your food intake, you can have pretty much anything you want! Interesting read for anyone struggling with a plateau right now.

03.01.2022 Who else uses one of these? I recently got one and have to say I love it! Although there's never a 100% accurate way to see how many calories you are burning, there are many studies that prove time and time again, monitors that have a strap around your waist for heart rate are the most accurate of calorie counters. There are many brands to choose from - Polar and Suunto seem to be the most popular and range from $80 - $200+. Or you can do what I did, I got my Polar FT4 second hand on eBay for $25 bucks! All I needed to do was get a new battery. Fitness accessories don't need to break the bank!
