19.01.2022 As you are most likely aware the Premier made an announcement today that as of midnight Saturday, South Australia will be out of lockdown and The Grange Golf Club will reopen on Sunday 22nd November 2020. Licensed venues including Clubs will still be subject to COVID restrictions in an effort to mitigate the latest COVID cluster outbreak. The following restrictions are in place as of midnight Saturday: The Clubhouse is capped at 100 people for indoor rooms and outdoor bal...cony combined One person per four square metres with the density requirement of no more than 1 person per 4 square metres applying in all areas No stand-up consumption of food and drinks inside the Clubhouse Maximum bookings of 10 people per table, including golfing groups Masks are not mandatory but are encouraged and more Grange masks will be available for purchase from Friday 27th November 2020. In addition, members are reminded of good practices that have been adopted by The Grange during the pandemic, including: Stay 1.5 m away from others and adhering to social distance signage Use hand sanitiser provided and take hand sanitiser with you when you go out and use it regularly Stay at home if you are unwell Get a FREE COVID-19 test if you have any of the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath and loss of taste or smell As we know with COVID-19, things do change daily or even hourly. 09.01.2022 Introducing our new Hospitality Operations Manager Management and Committee would like to welcome James Reid as the new Hospitality Operations Manager at The Gr...ange Golf Club. James has extensive experience in hospitality with over 20 years in the food and beverage industry. He joins us after spending the past 2 years as Hotel & Resort Manager at St Francis Winery. Previously working for the Dean Group of Hotels in several of their venues. James has supervised and led a team of 25 staff while overseeing all food and beverage operations, administration and housekeeping activities. James will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Event Manager and Head Chef, to ensure we provide members and their guests with outstanding service. James commenced duties at The Grange on Tuesday 20th October 2020 and we encourage members to make him feel welcome. We are sure James will be a great asset to the Grange team.
