23.01.2022 Its been a while since Ive built a JZZ30 Soarer, so building this one for one of our customers was kinda fun since not owning one my self for a long time (I have had 10+ Soarers over the years!) Mattys Z30 1.5J now has a 6466 Precision turbo with a 6boost manifold. Custom exhaust and intercooler piping were done by us. Tuning was done by @dvs_tuning and all wired by @wiredbydave. 06.01.2022 Our old shop S14 came in a little while back as unfortunately the old apexi turbo let go. With the new owner not wanting to redo the whole set up, we looked into getting the apexi rebuilt with a Garrett 3071 core by HyperGear Turbochargers! After a few little mods and tweaks to make it fit, it was off to Unigroup Engineering for a tune where it made an impressive 288kW, with boost tapering off due to the waist gate spring not being strong enough! ... #grimperformance #s14 #sr20 #unigroupengineering @ Grim Performance

03.01.2022 2019 Tuners Edge GTR challenge and drag battle done and dusted! First time entering and I have to say what a blast!!! Its been about 10 years since I properly had a go a drag Racing or done a event like this and Ive forgotten how much fun it is. Big shout out to Andrew Hawkins for putting on such a rad event!... Car had a few little issues over the weekend which we managed to get sorted and had some really good runs until the last grudge match where the gear box let go. Managed to clutch in and roll across the line for the win tho! Big shout out to Joe Tummarello from Hoon tune , Anthony Daher from Dahtone and Jamie Kuhn from forced for helping me out with laptops over the weekend, Jeremy Gilbert from DVS Tuning for putting up with my phone calls and make changes to the tune from Sydney! Also big shout out to Kyle Loftis from 1320Video.com For coming for a ride along and Matthew Everingham And Scott Robert Mitchell for some rad photos and videos, Dave Asprey for the lend of the rims big tyres are amazing! 03.01.2022 The Drift Bus fabricated by yours truly Grim Performance in collaboration with Hyundai and N Performance A lot of friends and customers have been asking and now we can finally share! Its been a long 10 months keeping this one under wraps, but the cats out of the bag with the release of the Hyundai iMax N Drift Bus at World Time Attack Challenge over the weekend. Towards the end of last year I was approached by Hyundai, with the crazy idea of building this van. Since we love ...building excitingly different projects, of course we jumped at the idea! It went quiet for a while, but in the last weeks of December I got the call from Hyundai that we had the green light on this project, under the condition that it had to be done in 8 weeks! This was a mammoth project to get done in time, so I called in two good mates of mine, Jonathan Okada and Paul Hendry and said lets make this happen. As you can see we got it done! A little run down on what we did. Basically everything that needed to be fabricated , electrical and interior. We cut out the fire wall, remaking it to suit the Twin Turbo 3.5L V6 motor and 8speed gearbox, which we made custom engine and gearbox mounts for. We modified the front crossmember and lower control arms to take the new electronic controlled struts, 5 Stud Hub/Knuckles and 4Pot brake calipers. We fabricated a custom tail shaft, custom 5 stud rear axles along with fabricating rear strut towers to fit the rear electronic struts. Designed a custom front sway bar, which Whiteline jumped on board and produced for us. We fabricated up twin 3inch dump pipes which was then mated to a custom Grim Performance bi-modal exhaust and we also custom made intercooler piping which we coupled to a plazmaman.com Intercooler with a Turbosmart Blow-Off Valve. Custom intake piping from the stock air box to feed the twin turbos and plumbed up the new fuel system and brake lines with fittings from Motorsport Connections Australia. We also fabricated up a custom brake peddle and sectioning the fire wall to suit the i30n brake booster and master cylinder. Our good mate Josh at JSAI Aero was contracted to make a custom rear bar side skirts and front splitter.
