14.01.2022 Hi Team, Just a few tips on COVID-19 Prevention Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds and hand sanitise often.... The Covid-19 virus dies in temperatures greater than 27 degrees Celsius, so drink hot liquids (water, infusions, broths, soups) frequently during the day as hot liquids are easy to digest and kill the virus. Ensure your mouth and throat are always wet and you are taking sips of water at least every 15 minutes. When you are drinking liquids you are flushing any virus down into the stomach where gastric acids destroys the virus before it can reach the lungs where it is very dangerous. Avoid drinking icy drinks or drinks with ice cubes. Gargle with disinfectant solutions such as listerine or salt water. Keep up to date with your vitamins. Vitamin D, Vitamin C and Zinc will also be great additional vitamins to take other than your regular multivitamin. Wear a face mask where you can. When someone sneezes near you stay 10 feet away to allow the particles to fall to the ground. Washing your clothes regularly on high heat or to be left out to dry for sun exposure. Common detergents can kill it. The virus can survive between 6-12 hours on clothes and tissues and 12 hours on hard surfaces. Disinfect surfaces regularly and was your hands after touching hard surfaces. The Virus lasts 10 minutes on your hands so washing your hands regularly is essential. Try and not touch your face so the virus is unable to is not given the opportunity to enter the throat. Were all in this together and we will get through this!
