12.01.2022 Hi All, With the social distancing rules only allowing 3 people in our store at a time, we wanted to let you know alternative ways you can get our bread, without having to line up in the cold. 1. WesEggs is delivering our bread. You can also get free range eggs, dairy products and bacon delivered to your door 4 days a week! Check out their site: www.weseggs.com.au... 2. The Teesdale General Store stocks our fresh bread daily. With all of your essentials on site, including the post office, they are a great way to get all you need away from supermarkets. 3. RAW Whole Foods and Fruit Market is delivering fresh fruit and vegetables Tuesday and Friday and you can ask to add our bread to your order. Just call our store (5281 2475) to order and pay, and we will take your order to RAW to be included in your fruit & veg order. 4. Contactless pickup. Just call our store (5281 2475) to order and pay, and we will run your order out to your car. We are also working on setting up online ordering and a delivery service ourselves and we will let you know when this is ready to start. Thank you all for your continued support of our business. 12.01.2022 Dear Valued Customers - With the new restrictions with regards to face coverings coming into force at 11.59pm tonight, we ask that all customers who enter our store, please wear a face mask/covering. For those who cannot wear masks for medical reasons, or who have exemptions, we offer contactless pickup, so you don't have to enter the store. Just call 5281 2475 to arrange.... With regards to supply, please don't feel the need to panic buy. We will remain open and we will do our very best to make sure we have enough bread each day. If we run out one day, then we will make more the next day until we have our levels right. Whilst this is a stressful time for everyone, let's please be nice to each other, including our staff, and let's all work together to make sure we end this thing!

07.01.2022 Great explanation of small business costs and the downside of using 3rd party delivery services. Even if a business shifts to home delivery themselves there are extra costs involved. Customers will always want free delivery but it is no use offering free delivery if you lose money every day. It is unsustainable and you will go out of business in the end anyway.

05.01.2022 Anyone looking for a Christmas party idea in the Banno area - you can’t beat Fed by Jed catering Jordi Ellingham and the Bannockburn District Bowls Club! Barefoot bowling, some beers and brilliant food all in a COVID safe environment. The Bowls club also had lots of volunteers on hand to show us what to do.
