I was lucky enough to train in both high care and low care residential facility in Carrington Nursing Home in Camden, and loved it. 12.01.2022 Muscles don’t make themselves...... this guy is 15. This progress is 6 weeks of 4 and 5 days a week working life. Since starting work Henry has developed strength and definition in his muscles. He is a roof plumber apprentice and before that he was the skinny kid at school that was always looked past. Henry has come along in leaps and bounds, his body composition testing has shown his muscle mass has jumped up 9 points. He’s just doing his job. The point is that he is active 5 days of the week. Compared to 1 day of sport at school. It goes to show that consistent activity gives change...... he can do it, so can you

12.01.2022 The man in this photo is a dad, an employee, a brother and a mate, he is a son, an uncle and he is a normal guy. He is on a self driven journey to change his lifestyle and his habits. Those habits will take him to new levels of energy, happiness and confidence. He will feel happier and healthier in himself and will smile more. It will only improve his life to live healthier. You see, often our livestyles make it hard to find a balance and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Irr...egular meals, convenient but not necessarily healthy options, poor sleeping patterns make a balanced lifestyle considerably hard to maintain. Those people are the ones we need to support and encourage- they are doing their very best in their situation. Truck driving is considerably hard to maintain a consistently healthy lifestyle and especially for this obstacle Ian deserves an extra applause. Some people find it hard to make progress on their own, and by taking a step to better themselves they often feel guilty. Everyone needs someone to say how proud they are of their efforts, just a little encouragement goes a long way and it does amazing things to know that your efforts are noticed. 09.01.2022 This is Opie, he’s my new training partner. He’s an 11 week old English Staffie, just the cutest little guy ever. In a few weeks he will have had all his shots, which means he can come running as much as his little legs would take him. He won’t be at every training session because he’s still demanding very much, and is distractingly cute. Do you have a training partner? Did you know that your pets are more than welcome to train with us? In the coming weeks I’ll be posting some videos of my training with Opie. Not sit stop and drop commands...... I’m talking cardio, plyometrics, balance, coordination training for humans with the happiness and laughter that comes with pets.

02.01.2022 Dearest Family and Friends at Border Boxing Club, I will be stepping back from my full time role at Border Boxing Club as of next Friday. I’ve had to make a decision for my family and so I’ll be focusing on that for a while. It has been such a positive experience meeting you all and hearing your journeys and watching you individually grow as athletes. I Thankyou all so much for the oppurtunity to be welcomed by such an awesome crew. You have all welcomed me with open arms and... the biggest smiles ever, which has been quite nerve racking moving from Sydney to a place that I know no-one. I’ve truly appreciated the laughter, the smiles and the directions (cos lets face it I get lost easily) you are all such wonderful people it’s been great to meet you all and see you all develop over the past few months. Matt, as a trainer you are an exceptional caliber of talent. You are creative, fun and inspirational, you motivate and you give your class the confidence that you see in their potential. You are truly one hell of a leader. You’ve become a good mate, you embody every core value of the club and you are a truly top guy. Thankyou for welcoming me into the BBC Family. Childrens Boxing and Bootcamp Class: wow you guys are awesome. Each class you give everything you have with a smile and a knockout punch. Your laughter and smiles are testament to Coach Matt’s abilities to respect each of you individually and to help you all grow your skills and development. You are all gaining skills and ability every week and you raise the bar consistently. I’m proud to see you all come so far! I’ll still be around to help so I’ll still see you all....... so I guess you should know how proud I am to say that you’ve all come so far, that you are all such awesome little people that make such a good class to see. You are all going to do so much in the future, you’ve got a great Leader so just follow his direction and continue being the greatest little athletes I know you can be! 01.01.2022 After a couple of days off I’m keen to get back to training all refreshed- though a little bruised and worse for wear, colours won’t stop me Training today I’m focusing on productivity and making the most out of my time....... what’s on your list today? Definitely no excuses!
