15.01.2022 Yep, my kids have no idea what a weekend sleep-in is! Such a vivid memory for me is when I brought my Lily home (she’s now 10) from the hospital when she had just been born and feeling so exhausted. It was a Friday night and for a split second I thought to myself ‘at least it’s Saturday tomorrow and I’ll get a sleep-in’ and then immediately realising that a newborn has no idea it’s a weekend and I’ll probably never get a sleep-in again! I bawled my eyes out in that moment ... 10 years later and not much has changed! 09.01.2022 How did you choose your kid’s names? In the lead up to my daughter being born, there weren’t many girls called Lily. She was born in March 2010 and by the end of the year it was the most popular girls name in Australia! Same with my sister, she always wanted a son called Oliver and in 2015 it was the no.1 boys name. I put them on my Christmas tree and remember that particular student or family. It’s such a lovely and sentimental gift!
