03.01.2022 Here they are... in all their glory! the AR2 is the latest model of @antikskates and its everything I hoped for and then some. Traditionally the Antiks are a... heavier boot but the latest modifications have changed that! The last is a plastic mold (like the Solaris) and allows more precision when using your edges. The heel is reduced but not gone completely. The tongue has also been lightened but is still SUPER comf! Oh and how about that chevron side panel Personally I’m addicted to the height of the boot. I lace to the top and couldn’t imagine it any other way. I took them for their first run at training last night. I’ve always been able to break in my Antiks without a problem and the AR2’s were no different. I noticed a slight pressure for the first 15 mins of training while my foot adjusted to the new boot feel but after that it was smooth sailing. Thanks to the ColorLab peeps for making me the sexiest looking #VRDL inspired derby boots on Z Planet! Thanks to @antikskates for keeping me rolling!
