23.01.2022 To all our wonderful campers, thank you for supporting us by having your holidays with us on our farm. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year. Sharon, Glenn, Thea, Norbit, Smudge, Coco, and the rest of the menagerie!

20.01.2022 This is why we love our backpackers. Thank you @yoleidier who decorated our pavlova. #aussiechristmas #vanlife #campingsunshinecoast

19.01.2022 We encourage campers to compost, occasionally having someone enthusiastic enough to grab a spade and bury their scraps in the garden beds. Here is a pleasant surprise with a chilli and spring onion popping up.

18.01.2022 Good morning! Norbit waiting at our front door early this morning. Patiently waited for his breakfast. I opened the door just to see if he would walk in.

18.01.2022 News Flash!!! First duckling has hatched. . We have 2 broody hens sitting on duck eggs. Excited to see how many more hatch.

18.01.2022 We have been here 9 years and I still get so much joy from being close to the wildlife. This mother and joey are always close by. At night they are right outside our back door. Sometimes I just stand and watch them as they are oblivious to my presence at night. This afternoon they just watched as I walked past in reaching distance. Such simple things can bring a sense of wellbeing.

16.01.2022 Macadamia blossom produces the most amazing honey. The honey is light and sweet with a distinct macadamia taste. The cappings are pale producing a beautiful yellow wax. I have some freshly spun and ready for purchase. #organicfarming #Macadamia #smallfarmcharm #campingsunshinecoast #rawhoney

14.01.2022 The bees are loving the beautiful weather and the variety of trees in flower. We have a small amount of macadamia honey available. The next honey harvest will be foraged from the rainforest trees.

11.01.2022 We skirted all the trees before harvest this year and have split the cuttings to a perfect size for smokers. Macadamia will give a nutty and sweet smoke flavour, without much ash. Good with all meats! Even better to know that our farm is organic, so no pesticide residue in the wood. $10 per kilo.

08.01.2022 One of the great things about having the campground is we meet some fabulous people who stay for a while and help us on the farm. Bec & Logan are moving on today after a 3 week stay. They have helped weed the compost piles, mulch the veggie patch and get a good start on the pathway. Both are passionate about the environment, and I see them leading amazing conservation projects one day. They have left me with some wonderful photos of the farm which I'll post, and a little more insight into the nocturnal wildlife here. Safe travels guys, and thanks again for you help.

07.01.2022 Nowhere to hide since the trees were skirted. We didn't realise how many roos lounged around the farm. Now we can see dozens of roos as we come through the driveway. #kangaroo #smallfarmcharm #campingsunshinecoast

06.01.2022 Glenn found this nest in the rainforest. It was about 1 meter off the ground and in an open area. No idea what type of bird. Anyone know?

05.01.2022 First batch of lemon butter ready. Farm fresh free range eggs, home grown lemons, organic butter and Australian sugar. Available today and tomorrow only. $10

04.01.2022 Busy morning on the farm with a native bee rescue. Successful transfer into a cypress timber hive. The hive was in a narrow limb from a eucalypt that was felled in Dulong. #nativebees #nativebeesaustralia #smallfarmcharm #campingsunshinecoast #campingoutsidethesquare

04.01.2022 Macadamia blossom honey available for a short time. In Maroochydore today until 3 or available from the farm.

03.01.2022 I have wonderful help on the farm, yesterday especially. Yohann helped transfer a nuc into a brood box, and collect some frames of honey early morning, then Christy helped extract over 50kg of delicious honey. It is now all bottled and ready for purchase. As always, we use recycled glass jars with new lids.

03.01.2022 Camping in the Gympie area early December? I reckon this will be a great day!

02.01.2022 For anyone who felt they were running the gauntlet entering or exiting the farm, please complete this survey. Thanks Sharon

01.01.2022 Definitely worth a visit.
