25.01.2022 This year hasn't been what I had expected so far on so many levels. So many people I have spoken to have also found 2020 a challenge. Others have seen new doors, new paths, and adapted successfully. I constantly choose to look at the positives and in doing this I'm amazed at how much I have to be grateful for! This is something I have to work on daily, it is a discipline that doesn't always come naturally, especially when things aren't going as planned. Deep down there is som...ething stirring in me, a destiny that keeps calling me. I’m so ready for all that is before me ... 20.01.2022 This is a story I wanted to share from today's #AIM Australasian Corporate Training Event What I have found these past few years is our dreams are worth fighting for. One of my team, and rising leaders, is a young mum with a toddler and a new born .... Please read Gabriela's reaction from today's event ........ "Wow! I'm blown away! Just got off our virtual event for Australasia with leaders and amazing speakers from all over the world and I'm so glad I joined in . I've got to say this past week was a huge challenge for me and this morning I was feeling very discouraged and frustrated. I've been up from 3am, you all know I'm a mum and last night I had a hard night. But being on this event, even if it was online, has made a huge difference in how I feel now I've been recognised for my efforts and my commitment to my business and dreams. I've been recognised for growing my business with no excuses, even when I could have made too many excuses. Being recognised and celebrated it's the most amazing thing that has happened to me. Especially through this year many could agree full of uncertainty and quite challenging year...still I kept going no matter the challenges and negatives. And this is because I have an amazing tribe of amazing women that have my back, they inspire me, encourage me, lift me up and challenge me to move forward, to grow and don't give up despite obstacles. I've cried a lot today but not all sad tears but tears of joy, tears of pride. Because life is not easy, building a business to support my family finances and give my daughters a better future is not easy! It is damn hard! But it's so freaking worth it! I want to give a special thanks to Naomi Joy, Popi Khouri and Sandra Spence (@groovygrannyentrepreneurs). Thank you for the amazing women you are and for believing in me. Thank you because through this business I've found my purpose, I've challenged myself to grow, I feel I'm here in this world for a reason, to help and support other women as well. And I couldn't have done anything without the support and love you have given me. What an amazing event! How amazing it is to hear the stories from so many people from different walks of life that have changed their lives thanks to this business and products. And winning the Making a Difference Award! Man! It is a huge honour and privilege to be apart of a company that not only delivers the most powerful products for health and wellness but that gives back to the community. 16.01.2022 The average woman thinks about quitting her job 17 times a year A new study suggests we're not that content in our careers. A new study from the Association of Accounting Technicians has looked into the working life of women and come up with some interesting statistics.... Apparently, the average woman thinks about quitting her job 17 times a year, and more drastic thoughts, of not just starting a new job but entirely switching careers, crosses women’s minds a further 10 times a year. Of the women sampled a third (34%) actually took the plunge and retrained, and one in five (22%) were actively thinking about it. The fact that we apparently battle through 671 workplace arguments from when we start working to the day we retire, might have something to do with our supposed sense of dissatisfaction. Or that we clock 82,802 miles commuting, a distance that's at least three times the Earth’s circumference. The study also concluded that the average woman worked 32 hours a week, totalling 1,668 hours a year, and 78,396 hours over the course of her career. 06.01.2022 This morning's story. We've had a painter working here at our house, and this morning he wanted to speak with me about the job. He came looking for me and I called out "I'm out here, working." His comment was "Not a bad office!" as he motioned to my surrounds. How true!!! Whether I'm working at home, or out and about, meeting in cafes, or in my car (often another 'office') hands free ... at the beach, a preferred office ... I truly have a remarkable business lifestyle!!! What I do, you could do.
