25.01.2022 We are supporting the Envision hands - Helping Collect bottle tops project. Envision hands takes plastic lids (numbers 2 and 4) and transforms them into prosthetic limbs for children throughout the world. Approximately 250 lids are used to make a small hand, however the wastage ends up being approximately 500 lids by the time it has been made. For an arm, approximately 500 lids are used with a wastage of approximately 1000 caps.... If you would like to help us, bring in your bottle tops and we will arrange to drop them to a collection point

15.01.2022 Tomorrow morning the landscapers are coming to work on our Young Explorers yard, we are very excited Please note, there will be some changes entering the Young Explorers building, you will need to access it via the Busy Investigators - 3-5 year old room, please make sure all gates are closed. Children will play in the Busy Investigators outdoor environment over the next few days - we look forward to sharing the progress with you all

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone A quick update on where we are at now that things are returning back to somewhat normal times We are definitely getting busier everyday, and are enjoying seeing all your faces again. We have decided to continue opening the Young Explorers room only at 7:30, at around 8:30/8:45 the Busy Investigators will move across to their room where they will stay til 4:45/5 - just like we used too ... For those families who are planning to return in the coming weeks, please let us know and we can arrange a visit beforehand to help transition your child back into care, for some of our little people its been a number of weeks since we have seen you and that can be a bit of a struggle for little people to adjust. If you have any questions or concerns please speak to Kellie or an educator. See you soon

01.01.2022 GROOVY KIDZ CHILDCARE MINI SESSIONS I am teaming up with Groovy kidz childcare, and offering mini sessions to all the Groovy kidz families at a discounted price... to help spread the Christmas cheer. The photos will make awesome Christmas presents, or just a great way of updating family photos. The sessions will be held on the 15th, and 22nd of November at Fossil Bluff between 4.30-7pm. $25 from each session will be donated back to the centre and will greatly benefit the staff and children.
