23.01.2022 This is your last chance to purchase tickets for High Street Dramas 2, today (Saturday) at 4:45pm and tomorrow (Sunday) at 4:45pm. You can book on Eventbrite or ring Holly on 4933 3330. Following on from the highly successful High Street Dramas in 2019, the Friends of Grossmann House invite the public to take a walk down the central area of High Street Maitland, over three late afternoons during the final weekend of March, to experience just some of the graphic stories of Mai...tland’s past. Walk with the players, as we stand in the places where sensational crimes, an historic riot, were played out, hearing first hand the details of a number of the stories which form the proud history of our place and its community. In collaboration with the Maitland Repertory Theatre, the Friends of Grossmann House, offer this stirring street theatre piece on the weekend of March 26/27/28 with a 4.45 start at the corner of High and Free Church Streets, Maitland, concluding at Brough House, 73 Church St, Maitland, for refreshments at 6.15pm. All proceeds go towards the ongoing maintenance of the National Trust properties Grossmann and Brough Houses, and to the Maitland Repertory Theatre. Please note, this event is not recommended for children as it includes some uneven street walking. See more

Following our walk an afternoon tea will be waiting for us at Brough House, a short drive back to 73 Church Street, Maitland. Please advise of special dietary requirements when booking. 15.01.2022 Last year, Debbie van Heekeren disrupted Grossmann House with her art work. It was a wonderful exhibition which changed the way we viewed a 19th Century house. If you saw the exhibition you might want to buy the book. #mymaitland #makeitmaitland #supportlocalartists
