Besides being the gateway to your home, it helps provide the first exclamation mark of the entry procession. . When thinking about a front door, there are certain self-evident objectives that should be met things like security (both real and perceived), protection from the weather, warm and inviting (hopefully although maybe this isnt always desired) reception point. What colour is your front door?

The combination of both is capable of engaging all senses beyond the visual and have attractive qualities such as durability and low maintenance. Would you use wood and concrete as a visual aesthetic in your home?

18.01.2022 There are two types of whites: warm whites and cool whites. Warm and cool whites have different undertones and can help set a mood within a room. It's important to speak to the professionals like us, about the nuances of white as we are experts in our field and we can share the ins and outs of each choice with you. It's also best to paint a large swatch of your shortlisted colours on the wall immediately all is revealed about their differences and their nuances.... Ensure you look at the painted swatches in the morning, the afternoon and at night to see how the colour changes under different light conditions. You need to think about how you want to feel in the space first and foremost. Then consider your surrounds and the amount of natural light that enters your space. Cool whites have a blue/black base, and translate as sharp, fresh, crisp and contemporary on the walls. They also neutralise natural sunlight so work well in north facing rooms where sunlight is at its peak; whereas warmer whites have a yellow/brown base and throw off warmer hues making a room feel cozier.

Wooden stairs are the most traditional staircase material and the most affordable. Wood is strong and easy to work with providing an element of warmth in the home.
