25.01.2022 Corten garden edging is really popular at the moment, the installation can neaten up your garden beds and make a striking edging. This is 100mm corten edging. Call me for a quote. #cortengardenedging #groundcontrolgardens #geelonggardens #torquaygardens #gardendesign

25.01.2022 Winter will really sort out your lawn if you have pets. A couple of excited rescues ran a path in this lawn, the moisture and the lack of resilience in the grass during the winter hibernation had left mud. My recommendation, a robust path that suits your garden design. Here I used some recycled red bricks to match the pizza oven also in the yard. No more muddy path! #alwaysrescueoradopt #gardeninspiration #gardenfixesismyjob #groundcontrolgardens #hightongardens #victoriangardens

21.01.2022 With the excessive amounts of rain and good weather comes an excessive amount of mosquitoes . Already around Torquay and Geelong these guys are out of control! There are many ways that you can eliminate them from dormant water areas such as ponds and birds baths, I personally use this product. It is chemical Free and stops breeding for up to 4 weeks, so the wildlife can continue enjoying the space. Envirosafe Australia #mosquitodrops

16.01.2022 A revamp of your front garden may be in order. The brief was a freshen up. We took the popular corten tree rings 300m high 935 diameter, constructed some garden beds and filled with Tucson pebbles. A crabapple took centre stage with a surround of mondo grass. Slate mulch was used around the edges for dramatic effect. #groundcontrolgardens #gardendesign #geelonggardens

01.01.2022 Shrub of the week is the snowball bush. Viburnum snowball bush is popular as it is extremely visually pleasing and easy to grow. This large shrub grows into an upright dense mound. These plants are easy to grow and can become the focal point of your garden when in bloom. Once established, the plant is frost tolerant and the blooms last for around 5 weeks before the blooms, fall to the ground petal by petal resembling falling snow. This deciduous shrub grows to a height of 4-5 m. The three-inch clusters of snowball flowers start out apple-green and morph to white, eventually fading to a rosy colour. They always transfer well to the vase and are extremely generous with their blooms. Just spectacular #snowballbush #groundcontrolgardens #cottagegardens #eaygrow#hightongardens #geelonggardens
