25.01.2022 Dear Teachers, Principals & Parents, What a cool year...I've met so many brilliant people and spent time with thousands of amazing kids who are passionate about doing their bit to help sustain our beautiful world. Kids are becoming increasingly aware of sustainable practices which is awesome...my program focuses on educating kids about WHY this is important and HOW genuine change can be achieved. ... I can only offer my 5 Day consultancy to 4 schools per term for 2020. If you are interested in me spending time with your kids and helping them achieve something truly meaningful in this space, I'd love to hear from you. I'm looking forward to introducing innovative STEM learning opportunities to complement my focus on using authentic data to augment your Measurement and Stats & Probability learning units and most importantly, sparking the ideas and imagination of SA kids. Give me a call/flick me a text on 0437 713 327 OR email [email protected] if you'd like to discover more about what I can offer your school. Have a great weekend! Toby

22.01.2022 Hi All, I'm excited to be continuing Ground Swell Education in 2020. Thanks to some funding support, I am offering 2 x 8 Day programs for Term 1 at a discounted rate.... Please let me know as soon as possible if you and your school community are interested. I'd love to be able to share the refinements and addition to my consultancy with you, including a day of me 'teaching the data' to selected classes. It's a crazy busy time of year, however I'd love to be able to lock your school in...thanks to those who have already shown interest! Due to me teaching 0.5 next year, only 2 spots are available. Flick me a text, email or message via the FB page if you'd like me to spend time at your school in 2020. Regards, Toby

21.01.2022 I'm really looking forward to working with the highly passionate and motivated crew at North Adelaide! 21.01.2022 This one's going to be great fun...I know all the kids! Only 2 spots left for Semester 1...get your Principal/Sustainability Coordinator to give me a buzz or drop me a line! Would love to get back out to rural areas too...find a 'partner school' nearby and let's chat!

20.01.2022 Hi All, I'm in the process of planning a new promo video for my Sustainability Education initiative - Ground Swell Education. I'd like to add a 'voice' from Australian kids - how they feel about the natural world, their hopes and fears and how they view the/their future. It's becoming increasingly apparent to me in my role as an educator that many kids are experiencing (often hidden) fear about the future of our planet from an ecological perspective. I want to help bring hope... to kids in this area. If you could ask your kids how they feel about our natural world, if they're worried about anything and what they hope our future will be like and could write it down and send it back to me on FB or email, that'd be great. If you don't have kids, feel free to ask your dog, cat or fish - however in that case, don't worry about sending their response through to me. Google translate is not quite there yet Not sure atm how we'll pull it all together, but hoping for a bit of inspiration from kids. I'll be doing the same next week in my teaching role. Email is [email protected] Feel free to share this, particularly if you have friends with kids who are interested in sustainability and/or our natural world. Fellow teachers, feel free to do this in your classrooms and send through anything your kids come up with. No filters and please no 'over influencing' of responses...just whatever comes out would be great. I'll probably only be able to use a few for the monologue I'm envisaging. I'm also going to looking for a 'tribe' of kids to have photos/drone footage taken of in the coming weeks/months. If you and your kids would like to be involved, please let me know. Many thanks, Toby See more

17.01.2022 A brilliant resource. https://www.drawdown.org

16.01.2022 It's been a challenging year for all of us, yet the past few weeks have given me reason for hope, after spending time with the kids and staff from West Lakes Shore Schools and Stella Maris Parish School. Kids are such amazing 'levellers' - they put things into perspective in ways that 'grown ups' often find tricky. Tonight, I feel really privileged to be in two roles - teaching at St Joseph's School - Tranmere and with Ground Swell Education. I'm enjoying working with outstan...ding educators and eager kids who are full of innate hope for the future. In this time of uncertainty, the future of Ground Swell Education is somewhat clouded, so I'm just going to make the most of the days I have remaining for 2020 (soon to include North Adelaide Primary School) and see what happens! If you would like to register your interest in me spending time with your school in 2021 should the opportunity arise, please don't hesitate to give me a buzz or contact me via email/FB messenger. Go well, Toby Moulton

I'm getting this photo enlarged and put in a cool frame for my humble abode. Check out the link above for more amazing photos like this!

11.01.2022 Hi All, Please find attached my updated flyer for 2020...I'm hoping they upload ok in JPG format!? Consultancies for both Terms 1 & 2 are available at a discounted rate. Please give me a call or flick me an email if you'd like to discuss Ground Swell Education at your school! Toby

11.01.2022 This article makes a lot sense. KESAB's 'Which Bin?' initiative goes a long way towards ameliorating some of the problems mentioned here. But our nation's waste issue lies in REDUCING the waste we all generate, as individuals & families, schools, businesses and the public sector. I spoke to the highly passionate staff at St Joseph's School in Tranmere this afternoon about our responsibility to do our best, become increasingly aware and try new initiatives, without imposing gu...ilt or an expectation to be perfect. Every effort counts. If you'd like me to spend some time with your staff or students in 2020, please give me a buzz or flick me an email. I'd love to keep spreading this message through a lens of hope for the future. Toby https://www.theage.com.au//six-little-wheelie-bins-lined-a

10.01.2022 After a lot of uncertainty in recent months, I'm looking forward to getting back out into schools in Terms 3 and 4! I have an opening for Term 3 and two for Term 4. Give me a buzz or drop me a line if you'd like more information...I'd love to chat with you! Take care,... Toby See more

10.01.2022 A fantastic article and further link (Project Drawdown) that provides hope...and some super Ground Swell and teaching ideas https://www.sciencealert.com/report-outlines-76-of-the-/amp

02.01.2022 I conducted my final Ground Swell Ed workshops for 2019 at McLaren Vale Primary School this week. On both mornings (Mon & Fri), I arrived feeling like I was back in Melrose. What a treat to speak to/with so many kids and staff who already have outstanding knowledge, awareness and innate love of our natural environment, the challenges it currently faces and achievable sustainable practices to take us all into the future. Kids of all ages spent time with me during their breaks ...to talk about their concerns and ideas. I'm really looking forward to getting back there on Tuesday to work with small groups of such eager, 'earthy' kids. It will be challenge to build upon what is already an outstanding example of how sustainable practices in schools is very achievable if everyone is moving in the same direction, everyone is involved and committed and have a clear understanding of WHY this is so important.
