16.01.2022 Ive admired Alexandra Kehayoglou work for some time and it was incredible to see Santa Cruz River 2017 at NGV triennial extra this week. Based in Beunos Aries. Alexandra uses hand tufted wool rugs to draw into focus landscapes under threat of irreversible change. Her powerful works merge traditional rug making techniques with detailed site analysis, drone footage and photography. #ngvtriennialextra #landscapeart #groundedgardens
