24.01.2022 It's lemon season and that means cooking with lemons. Here's a sneaky tip to get your lemon zest done in a flash. Peel it making sure not to get too much pith.... Wizz it in the thermo or other type of food processor. I did 8 seconds at speed 7, scrape, 5 seconds at speed 7, done. How easy is that!!! Ps. It works with oranges too. And if all that extra zest isn't enough just add a couple of drops of essential oil. Citrus Perfection!!!
14.01.2022 Do you already do any of these? I do 3 because I don't drink coffee, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11 this is more easy than you could imagine, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19 I use one of the plastic packages as the storage and take to my local style when full, 20, 23, 26 choose a can or glass instead, & 28 I don't use anything I'm sure the checkout chick's love balancing all my apples on the scales. I've got a few to go still, so it's a work in progress...but one thing at a time I'm getting there.
07.01.2022 What do you do with your egg shells? We use them to keep slugs off our veggies. Simply dry them, crush them and store until needed or use straight away. Sprinkle around the base of each plant needing protection.... My 2.5yo loves this job.
