14.01.2022 What do we learn from mental illness? A lot of people say mental illnesses are not comfortable thing to talk or think because it's scary and unreal. People are often scared of things they don't understand. However, mental illnesses give a person a lot of lessons to learn about it. These are many things that we can learn from mental illnesses: Understanding how human brain works (especially people who have experienced mental illness, us)... Finding new treatments for mental illnesses (A lot of people who suffer from mental illnesses are learning how to cope with their issues and some of them are psychologists :)) Discovering new facts ( Did you know a sleepless night has a link to depression? ) Improving human lives (People who recover from mental illness CAN get a better job than before is happening) Changing society perspective (The increasing number of people who understand mental health has the same value as physical health are happening around the world) Contribute the knowledge of mental health to the world (Thanks to many discoveries of mental health, we can diagnose the issues easier and earlier) What do you think about these lessons? Please comment below and tell me what you think. All of this information was based on The Department of Health and Department of Health and Human Services, State Government of Victoria. #mentalhealth #lessonsfrommentalhealth #mentalissues #mental #depression #DepartmentofHealth #mentalillnesses
