22.01.2022 COMPETITION! Open to Girl Guide Youth Members in Geelong District to design a "Greater Geelong District" blanket badge. Parameters * Open to Youth Members regi...stered in the Geelong District; * Girls can work in groups or individually - as a unit, a patrol, a group of Guide friends or a girl working alone; * Girls can enter more than one design - there is no limit to the number of designs any girl can have a hand in; * Every entry must have the words "Greater Geelong District" on it; * Every Entry must have either the words "Girl Guides" OR a picture of the trefoil OR both on it; * The design can be a circle, oval, square, rectangle or triangle; * All designs are to be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to 26 Cresta St Leopold 3224; and * Finished Entries must be received by 30th October 2020 Winner will receive - 3 copies of the badge for herself and 2 friends A Tori Bear 5 Swap badges We can accept digital images (ie using a computer drawing program) and paper images (ie drawings), no photos please. Once the final design has been selected, it will be converted into a digital image and sent to Westwind Designs for creation. Some fine tuning of the design may be needed in collaboration with the badge maker for clarity of image. Badges will be available for purchase after that!

Can't make the in-person campfire or miss a spot, or prefer to be home in your Oodie?? That's ok, we are taking Zoom registrations too!
09.01.2022 What have you been up to at guides? We have had almost 3 terms meeting virtually via zoom. We've done Anzac day, Easter, mothers day, fathers day, trivia, made pancakes, created armpit fudge, made icecream in a bag, made face scrubs, lipbalm, foot scrubs, completed badges, watched a movie, painted, played virtual games, wrote letters to those in our communities and best of all kept our little unit connected during this uncertain time. Have a quick look at some of the things we have been up too.
